So I’m sure there’s already a thread and I’m not trying to jack or move anything. But shopping around for a 50 inch light a 30 inch light and pods I started to realise I’m over my head. So either opinion or fact I’ve heard VisionX a lot for being the best. Anyone care to elaborate without concern to price! I would like just the best all together! You pay for what you get and I would love to go off roading just couldn’t find anything here and I’ve trusted this site so far in 4 months to lead the way and so far so good!

Many people say that the biggest challenge with light bars is wind noise.

Yes. If your not ready for some noise don’t do it. Just added an Auxbeam 50 inch with Westin mounts and let me tell you it whistles and sounds like a hurricane is coming! But there’s a work around with some somewhat expensive but very well rated silencers.

I’m gonna let Florida field this one.
what do you mean by this? Just looking for some type of show and tell! Maybe a good discussion! I know there’s no direct answer as everyone has their own opinions. But there has to be a light bar company standing over most. I have experience with VisionX. Auxbeam. And a few ebays. But I would like to know what rates the highest or what guys doing night runs are using flawlessly?

Probably means every Jeep in Florida has a light bar.

It’s just a joke. We tease Florida about their high number of light bars per capita. So Floridians are by purchasing prowess the de facto experts on things light bar related.

I bought the Auxbeams on Amazon. I have a 20" and 2 4" pods on my front bumper, and 2 4" pods on my back bumper. They would not be considered "high end" lights by any stretch of the imagination. But, they hold up well, they are bright and they work just fine.

I know that’s a true statement! I paid 100 for my 50 inch a few months back on sale. I’m a follower to their company and there lights. Very good output. And the light puts out really great distance!
Bad picture but if you could see this light in action it’s better then a lot of 2-500$ lights I've seen around my way in ny. That’s what this post is for! Prices don’t always mean great quality.

If price isn't a concern, you and simply want the best then Baja Designs has a bad ass 50 inch. But in terms of style, the KC Hilites Gravity Pro6 LED is one of the best looking light bars you can put above your windshield.

Not to hijack the thread here......but you dont need those expensive silencers at all. I put a 50" Rough Country single row light bar on my rig and quickly silenced it by using some door edge guards and placed strips of them along the fins all the way across each row and it hardly makes a sound now. Door edge guards are cheap compared to those silencers.
