Took a road trip to Austin and Mother Nature decided to upgrade the windshield, I felt the cracks on the windshield really made my JL stand out

haha on a serious note, crack spread within minutes, at least I made it a year without cracking it

They reimbursed me for the Adj Tereflex one I installed before the recall came out. $375

Only catch was they told me it was mandatory I get the "parts" inspected at dealership before the claim could be approved. The inspection cost me $74 which they did not reimburse me for.

Thought it was really cool of them however to cut me a check for the Tereflex.(bought the Adj Fox ATS stabilizer with that money - total win)

It’s been a month to the day and I want to show her off to ya’ll. I decided on the XRC Gen 2 for the front and the rear bumpers. One day I’ll have a winch. Put some side armor on and swapped out the rubicon rock rails. Went with the “2 inch” Mopar lift which ended up like 3.5” and had to add an adjustable track bar up front and terraflex relocation bracket on back. The rear bumper tag relocation bracket in the spare tire did not set well with the wife and I got the Lod tag relocation bracket to work perfectly with the Smittybilt XRC Gen 2 rear bumper and I’m pretty proud of how awesome it turned out! I spliced into the trailer harness and soldered and heat shrinked every connection. I ran some little license plate led bolt lights for illumination. This is my first Jeep and I love all the mods you can do. I thing like tearing up a $50K beautiful machine as your wife shakes her head. Hahaha. I went with Rockstar 3’s in 17x9 with -12 offset and am running Ridge grapplers 35x12.5x17. Not loud at all and so smooth. The Mopar lift rides like factory to me (no off-road yet). Thank you to everyone for all your awesome posts in helping me with my build.

Very quick and easy...

Called them regarding the recall notice received.

They sent me an email on what to do.

Appx. 2 weeks later I recd a check.

(only pita was having to go to dealer and have the stabilizer inspected and cleared meaning - "functions properly and is safe")

If you want it. You will need a tubing cutter, 3/4" copper water pipe(slips inside tubing for splicing) and 1/8" pop rivets and gun to modify for fit BTW.
