Havent taken mine off yet, now im curious
I’d be a bit livid if I found that on my new wheels. Means someone thought is was a great ideal to impact on the bolts without starting the threads first. Bad quality control plain and simple.

Finally had some time to install the Zeon 10S. Went ahead and used the Arctec winch plate, which was very straight forward. The only issue I had was placing the final inferior bolt to the frame. Had to use a wobbly and do some crazy hand gymnastics to get it in. I don't think I was able to fully tighten it as much as I'd want but should be fine. Has anyone else had any similar issues? Overall very happy and it looks
We put that winch on with the Warn plate and it was a true PITA. The inner bumper bolts were not fun to tighten.

Finished installation of Maximus-3 winch mount and d-ring loops. I began this last weekend but had a very minor hiccup, which Maximus-3 took care of promptly. I really like how clean their design is w.r.t. a minimal slot to cut in the bumper, and their mount and ring loops are solid stuff. Winch to be added next year.

I have the same parts from Maximus-3. Make sure a D-ring pin can pass through the d-ring loops. For me the finish on the loop was a little too thick and I had to grind it down some. Might want to check now, ahead of needing them on the trail.

Swapped out the shocks. 3 extra inches of down travel. Im extremely happy with how much it can flex only with 1.5 inch spacer lift.

Finally finished up the DV8 beadlocks on the Jeep. I think they look pretty sweeet. This is how the convo went at the tire shop.

Tire Guy: Those rims look great. Are you doing any more mods?

Me: Thanks. The rims were the last modification I plan on doing. Im completely fini.....[glance at my Jeep for a few seconds]. Do you think I should lift it more? It looks kinda low now.

Tire guy: Absolutely.

Rims look awfully similar to mine....... They'll get beat up quickly. Rim edges have some chunks gouged out of them from the trails. Bumpers look like a similar breed also. You have very good tastes.

When I put in the LOD Destroyer Sliders/steps I had to drill a new hole in the frame and with Winter coming up here in MN I wanted to beef up the anti-rust. I had to remove the slider and applied some industrial strength anti rust spray then reattach the slider, can't be too careful here in MN.

Added Westin Oil Pan skid. Painted it red to match the other skids i have as well. Pretty simple install and the price was right.

And no, i don't expect the paint to survive should the plate get hit, but I've got plenty left to touch it up.

I went to my local CJD Dealer in Garner NC to have my driver's side soft top top panel (driver side rear corner) replaced. Lost the first one on Thursday night while I was driving at or below posted speed limit top up window's up and Loud bang it was gone. It was a work zone with barriers so no chance to stop. APRIL a service person at the CJD was great it was covered by warranty. 1150 miles -1 windshield and -1 soft top panel what's next? :)
