This may be a dumb question, but how did the hoop install onto stock bumper? Been wanting to do something like that with mine.![]()

Got a Rugged Ridge hoop bar installed.
Laid out in my driveway and took off the euro doodads, and the belly pan. Took me forever to get the driver side off, but then when i figured it out, the passenger side came off fast.
Got my CMM mirrors in the mail, installed the mounts for them (didnt get any pics), but they seem to have a very nice fit and finish.
Now waiting on my buddy to get his JLUR so i can buy his wheels/tires and suspension.
Also since i have the Rubi fenders installed and line-x'd, i think next up his getting the hood sprayed. Eventually the whole ride will be line-x'd, in stages.
Not my thread, but this was my motivation:This may be a dumb question, but how did the hoop install onto stock bumper? Been wanting to do something like that with mine.
Also, which hoop is it?
PITA? any more photos of how they look?No they're actually still bare, still deciding on a color. Well honestly I haven't been thinking about it at all, I'm lazy. Just glad I'm done installing them.
Looks great!Wired up the ROAM rock rail lights today. Swapped out the ones that came with the rails for amber colored ones. I didn't do the wiring unfortunately. Electrical wiring is a mod area I need to get smarter in. So I had a mechanic friend help out. Very happy!![]()
Looks good!Removed my @ROAM side steps and replaced the cheap LED lights that quit working with new Oznium LEDs. Hopefully these last. Also sprayed Fluid Film on them while they were off the take care of surface rust.
No pics, but I also swapped the tie-down rails on my Diabolical Slipstream with the shorter ones and put bed liner on the lid.

The install really wasn't too bad, especially the second one. The instructions provided weren't that great and I didn't have a rivnut gun. Once I did the first one, the second one was cake. I actually don't mind the bare look, if I see rust I'll paint it. Oh and what made me pull the trigger was I found it for $176 on amazon at the time.PITA? any more photos of how they look?
Which trail?A great "JEEPIN" weekend for sure!
This looks great. Did you have to use a hitch extender to get it to clear the rear tire? If so, which one and how long is it?Installed Rocky Mounts BackStage 2 Bike Rack. Innovative design and easy to use. Makes for easy access.
