I came from a JKU and LJ, so wind noise isn't an issue for me or anything new. My issue is actually that the driver's side is perfectly acceptable for my Jeep, but the passenger side sounds like a window is cracked open.

This is with a Sport S with Premium Top.

I haven't been able to narrow it down to where it's coming from. Anyone else's Jeep like this?

Yes many have commented about this from whistling, to general wind noise, to helicoptering sound.

From your description it sounds like possibly the seal on the windshield. Tape it off and see if it still makes the sound. One person had dealership replace it if I recall correctly. I am not reading through the threads but you can find a lot of information on this topic in the threads below. Some have posted pictures of those windshield seals for reference.

I picked up my JLU Unlimited Sahara hard top on Friday and have the same exact issue: passenger side sounds like a window is cracked open. It usually kicks in at around 30 mph. Driver side is dead quiet. Were you or the dealer able to figure it out? I'm going to remove the antenna today to see if it makes a difference.

Check the door seals for any irregularities. Another poster had a problem with his door seal causing wind noise.

Sorry to revive a dead thread but did you ever find a fix? It is driving me crazy! Happens on my driver side at about 25mph.

Any word on a solution to this. Notice the same thing on my JL. Built in September 2018. Im thinking it has something to do with soft top. I taped around door seal and the wind noise persisted.

My 2019 JL hardtop has been at two dealers for a total of 32 days of the first 79 days I owned it trying to fix the wind noise on just the passenger lower windshield side of the car!! It is still not fixed. Jeep has tried several Star Case repairs on the windshield seal, then the windshield and door rubber moldings and it is still unacceptable. They are saying there is nothing to do. It is sad that I paid over $50K for a car that is very quiet on the drivers side, but sounds like the window is down a crack on the passenger side and I am now being told by the factory (not the dealer) that this is OK.
This is my first experience with Jeep.... Are we being forced to look at other remedies as the next path?

Check gaskets, including front window and top

So I had the same and found the problem to be: the windshield bolt. If your windshield was ever folded down you have to take off the bolts behind the sun visors. Check those to see if any are loose. Once I tightened it up the noise went away.

My NEW 2019 JL Wrangler passenger side sounds like the window is cracked open yet the driver's side is perfectly quite. My JL has been to the dealers twice, the first time the dealer said that they had a bulletin from the factory saying to re-seal the windshield, which they did. The minute I drove off, I heard it again, it did NOT fix the wind noise issue. So I took it back in and the dealer kept it for over 4 days and they couldn't find the issue. They told me that it is NORMAL and there isn't anything they can do. This response is totally unacceptable, your telling me it's normal on one side yet not the other side? I have to live with a LOUD wind noise for a Jeep I paid over $50K? I am so disappointed about this noise!!!

I know Jeeps aren't quite vehicles, I drove a 2012 JK for 7 years so noise isn't anything new but this is horrible!!! It sounds like my passenger window is cracked down yet it isn't and the driver side is perfectly fine!

HELP!!!

I would demand the service manager ride with you in another JL on the lot and if does not have the noise it is not "normal". Or try another dealer.
