Not to mention that they cannot submit registration or collect sales tax on CA vehicles. Major chafe.

I'm all for saving money, however, I don't mind paying for service.

Having a Jeep delivered to me w/o any hassle is more my style.

I did in socal, they either wanted 3k Mark up, MSRP or 1% under invoice with $300 off.

I ordered a JL last night from Jim Marsh. (its about 3 miles from me) I got it at 7.5% below invoice. Plus 428$ (Doc+Title) + Taxes. But I also need to purchase Tread Lightly. After docs/title/tread lightly membership, I basically got the jeep for 6.4% below invoice, which still isn't bad, especially for a Vegas Dealer. Plus I should also mention that I was the last customer to get this deal. I'm not sure what the current deal is now, but I said I read alot of members getting it for about 6% now and he said that is correct, so who knows. Mariana told me that the eta is 4 weeks. Only praying it will be that fast!

If your local dealer can get you 1% below invoice in Cali. That’s not horrible...

Also, be prepared for collection letters from the State Board of Equalization regarding sales tax. They will want copies of the original contract even after you go through the whole rigmarole at the DMV. Been there.

i live in Vegas so sales tax is handled by the dealer. I have purchased out of state and usually pay either the state sales tax and pay different at NV DMV or pay the actually nv tax at the dealer. this time around though, I will have no issues. and planning on refi with my credit union for a much lower interest rate

Are you locked in to the dealer financing for a fixed period of time? Is there any early payoff penalty?

I emailed Marianna, but maybe that ship has sailed. At this point, I would do 1% under invoice from an Inland Empire dealer...I mostly just don't want to wait 6-8 weeks.

I didn't think it'd be this hard to find a black/granite 2-door with a clutch pedal...

Check earlier pages, someone posted what dealers were doing 1% or more under invoice for him. It might be a drive from big bear but worth it because you might find one rubi like that but I doubt it'll be under 1% if not ordered.

I went to Premier Jeep,in Placentia tonight to look at a Rubi live. Not specced like we want but wife wanted to check it out live. They said they are at 1% below invoice, Thread Lightly deal. Nothing more. I brought up the 5% deals and he flat out said the owners don’t care. They will sell everything they can at 1%or above all day long.

I have sent my build to Dennis Dillon and Jim Marsh. I will report back once I have them.

I'm not locked in yet. They said in order to get a certain amount off of the jeep, I'd have to fiance w/ Chrysler. who knows how much more it would be if I went with a different bank. I never even thought to ask if there is an early payoff penalty.

She and Anthony (Sales MGR) told me I was the last customer to get the 7.5% below invoice deal. What kind of deal did she say she can get you?

I got $300 off on top of 1% under invoice at Temecula Jeep and Huntington Beach Jeep said they would only match that.
