Okay, second worse then ha. I get you like the brand and have had good experiences...and I know my frustrations are coming out all at once and that rubs some wrong...I have no problem either hat and appreciate the input. I know any brand/vehicle can have isolated issues, but the point stands that they don’t have “the best” reputation and this is getting a little nuts. Not how you want to start. It’s like you start dating a girl that has a reputation for cheating, and halfway through the first day you find her flirting with the bus boy while you’re in the bathroom. Ha 3 month’s into a build and I have no clue what’s going on and my sales guy has sent me 3 different VINs across various “updates” lol

This sounds more like you have a local sales guy issue than anything else.

Specifically, what’s 343100 & SPLC_CODE. Does railcar released by consignee mean I’m on a train to Winston-Salem (where Jeeps going to NC are sent by rail) or already there?

Did some Google, SPLC means Standard Point Location Code. So 343100 is the railyard where my Jeep is at. Don’t know where, can’t find anything that tells me that.

Chatted with Royal at Jeep-what a d*ck! He wouldn’t give me a status code, stating the higher-ups wouldn’t allow it. He said too many people were intercepting their orders before they arrived at the dealer. I call BS. My Jeep is built, but is pending the installation of further equipment. I guess I’m still in JB.

This really is interesting. This is the timeframe mine was being built as well. Sitting in "I" for the past couple days while a few seem to go straight to JB/JS or even KZ.

I think the tow package is the issue. I have that as well and got held up. But I don’t have the mats or head liners

I have tow package as well. 3.5 weeks in “I”. So you could be right, but my question is if it is a parts/package issue, how did it get to final inspection? Wouldn’t that be something they caught before then?

II was thinking this too since I have the tow package as well until I read...

I have the tow pkg, ordered on 2/2 and am in KZ as of yesterday

What did you order? It must have been a JL with no paint, no stickers, no top....at all and a tow package? LOL
