Installed my @BestopTeam Sunrider Soft Top yesterday then took it for a drive. Love how easy it is to open the top now compared to the Freedome top panels.

I do have a question for others that have installed this. The back seems to site a bit short of where I would have expected it to. Is there a way to adjust this so it fits better or is this how yours sits?

Also, do other experience the fabric flapping while its open? I was only driving about 45 MPH max yesterday and the fabric in the center was flapping somewhat. I'm concerned with what the will do over time, fabric wear or other issues.

Did 1st oil change at 2500 miles today and installed the FUMOTO!

I’d have gone with a compact femco instead as much lower profile, and I prefer it over a lever style valve,

I ordered the factor paint from my local dealer. I wanted an exact match. The special 2 part clear coat came from amazon. The hitch was white to match my Dodge Ram. I sold the truck and kept the hitch. Mopar factory Firecracker Red paint code is MRC for spray lacquer and PRC for the touch up paint pen.

I finally got around to paint the silver inserts on my Sahara black to match the rest of the rig- I had disliked that look since the get-go but thought I would get used to it and finally never did. It took two days- mostly 12 hours for the paint to dry so as to be able to be handled back but this is how it looked:

Took top off, but left doors on, trying to decide which soft top to get. The fast back or the traditional style. I don’t know that much about them, I’ve always had hard tops over the years. Any advice from those in the know, would be appreciated...

Looks great!

Both tops have their pros/cons. I love the ziperless design of the factory softop. I didn't realize how nice I had it until I went to a Trektop.
Both are relatively quiet for soft tops (I had the premium fabric on both).
The trektop doesn't open up all the way for the people in the back, nor does it cover the cargo area with the sides off top closed. I personally like the Trektop bikini top look much better than the OEM "safari" look with the rear panels off.
The trektop has a overall flatter/cleaner look to the top when closed. The OEM top has a lot of bows and doesn't have that nice flat look.
For me the biggest draw to the trektop (besides the fastback look) was the additional clearance due to the lack of all the bows. With the factory softop I would graze my garage header on hot days. With the trektop I now have 3"+ from the highest point to the garage which is about the same as the hardtop.

Mine has the same crease where it looks like it doesn't cover. Flaps for sure when all or just the front windows are all the way down. I have found it flaps less when the front are down all the way and the rear cracked about an inch.
