Not sure it went anywhere but I was seriously thinking about starting a Go Fund Me page for @JAY and @JLWF Dealer Guy and the hard work they have put in. Unless anyone has any objections I'll start a crowd sourcing effort (anybody have a better recommendation than Go Fund Me)? If everybody these guys have worked there butts off to help even kicked in a dollar each we could get them something pretty darned nice. Additional thoughts/ideas are welcome. I liked the idea of booze but sometimes shipping booze can be weird. Gift cards to Amazon, something like that (where they can buy JL stuff) sounds good to me.

Jeep chat previously gave me an eatimaited delivery to dealer date of today 2/13/18. I just got a call from the dealership letting me know it was in paint. He guessed another 1-2 weeks.

1/22 order date
2/13 in paint

As has been the pretty much on point history, the initial ETA showing in early stages is likely (or inadvertently equals) the approximate build start date. Here is another example of that.

Agreed and understood. Doesn't mean I wouldn't kick a few dollars their way for the work they have done (that they didn't need to). I'm at 17 days in "I". Has your dealer been able to provide you an update? I think @BoBo was in "I" for an extended period (20+ days) and they had to build him a new Jeep.

They would need to provide us with a paypal email for donations. A lot of forums take donations this way. Shoot them a PM about it.

Yikes! Thanks for the feedback. My current car is a lease that expires mid April and I already paid the lease off and have a few thousand miles left, so I’m not in a hurry and therefore haven’t pressed my sales person too much on it. BUT, like your comment suggested, I’m starting to worry about what is going on. I’d hate to have all this time and then have to start over and be in a position where I can’t get it in time all of a sudden. Based on your comment I should probably start checking into it aggressively.....

I was in I for 5 days, then further quality control in JS for the past 10 days.

I got excited to leave I. And here I am stuck in more inspections.

Can't get any details as to why.

Just received an update, I have officially hit build status, framing to be exact. No ETA for ship date yet, but I ordered mine 1/30, and just hit E today. Hopefully I can get a ship date soon!
