Just an update, the former dealer said that my deal wasn’t a real deal and it must have been for a two door. After a few go arounds of this, I just told him not to bother texting me if he can’t match my other deal.

Of course it was... for a 2-door... miata... supercharged miata... made in Germany... with towing capacity of 7000 lbs... yeah

This reminds me of a VW salesperson trying to sell me a Passat TDI with a manual, which he had "in the warehouse" and if I could only come in try this gasoline passat with auto instead, cuz, you know... it's the same.

As we have previously responded on another thread, as of now current delays associated with the JL would be due to vehicle launch. This was a highly anticipated vehicle that is in high demand. We do apologize if the delivery times are taking longer than anticipated, as we understand the excitement of ordering a new vehicle! We have received private messages from some people regarding their order status. We are working on getting around to each individual with any specific updates we can find.

Does anyone know if you get an eta date when it has been built, are those eta dates accurate at all?

It is suppose to be pretty close. The variation would be in final QC (if they find anything) then shipping (weather, similar delays) by train and truck if that's the process. Unsure if your dealer will do inspection before they call you or not.

Here's the feedback I received from JeepChat on ETA when I asked why I don't have one in D1:

Areti: No, we haven't for a very long time. The only ETA we have now is when it begins the shipping process we get an ETA for when it should arrive at the dealer.​

I know. Hopefully you are enjoying yours without any issues. I'm sure it was great taking it on your trip. It will get here, just sucks not having any idea. I'd really like to know if there was an issue so I could keep a close eye on whatever they are having to fix.

"Current delays...due to vehicle launch" are why some of us ordered before vehicle launch. Unfortunately that didn't help.

Hey, @JLWF Dealer Guy Do you have any idea of what I could ask for from Jeep since my original order ended up being a lemon? My Dealer and I are ordering a different one, since the one I ordered, has had several issues. (Sound equipment not plugged in[ok NBD], it was stuck in 4WD due to a broken part. They got the new part this week, now it is stuck in 2WD) It has been sitting in their shop, they brought out an engineer from Detroit to look at it as well this week.

It looks like I will need to wait another several weeks for the new Jeep, and the time on the pre-approval loan is ticking. (got it the day before I was supposed to pick it up, later that day they found the issues). I dont want to have to have my credit hit again due to another pre-approval.

If you have any idea please let me know.
