I might have to consider doing mine-
I was one of the first if not the first and had mine done straight out the box. It was well worth every penny! Any bumpers I change out will be done by the same people!

Why freehand when you can buy the exact same for like 30 bucks? I imagine you have to buy the actual vinyl in 2 different colors anyways. Wouldn't that plus the time sink potentially cost more? I'm sorry I'm always thinking about time investments doing any project... Because time is money too..

Looks great by the way.
I have $5 invested in this when you break it down. And the vinyl is much better quality. And it maybe takes an additional 5min longer to install. I already have rolls of vinyl from other projects. So, in reality this is just scrap material. I also do my own welding, carpentry, automotive wrenching and electrical work. I just enjoy doing things myself.
I also made my own hood strip. $16 invested in that.

The problem is your being honest only within your own opinion! Your opinion does not reflect the opinion of every other Jeep owner, or people that leek at Jeeps! So by making such a asinine comment you basically made the opinion of a jackass! You attacked all of the stock JLUR’s who have decided to take off their end caps and told them they now drove a roller skate, heaven forbid they replace their stock bumper with a stubby one!

You seem to be much like a boat motor in a septic tank! Makes no sense being there because all it will do is spread crap!

But if that turns you on go for it!

And owning Jeeps all you life does not make you any more supreme then anyone else. My first Jeep came in 1984 but my life eventually made me change until now. Simply loving Jeep life is all that matters!
Talk about reaching to try and make someone sound worse than what was said.

Dude, my thoughts and opinions are mine yes of course.

And no they dont represent anyone else but myself.

I didnt attack anyone??

Your comment is totally bogus, misrepresenting and fake.

Your trying to spin what I said.

Who wants to bet me this idiot is a liberal snowflake??!! I'll put the title to my Rubicon on it

Total fake news....what a loser

Where did you get the fender gasket?
Amazon
.50 OD x 25'
rubber
two types shown, I bought the solid, round tube type
cleaned out gap with compressed air and credit card
worked gasket in with plastic trim tool in the sun
started doing one fender then going around to the next 3
ended up going around 3-4 times as it kept going deeper (as it softened up and got flexible)
ultimately wedged in and looked like a factory gasket

I laid this out for cutting today or tomorrow. This is to lay in the center of my hood stripe. The strip is long enough that it comes down off of the bulge. The JL will be positioned on the down slope. I'm hoping that it turns out well.

Interior color conversion is a work in progress. My interior will never be all tan. So far, all of the upper removable pieces are now tan(krylon plastic fussion satin khaki). Hot Head panels are beige option. Lower half of interior is still black except the door panels and tailgate panel. Carpets will change to tan when color becomes available thur after market. Looking a seat covers, undecided as yet. "It’s a Jeep thing”. I don’t care if others like “My Jeep Thing" or not.

I like the tan with white. I think that red dash panel should be painted white to match your Jeep. Looking good!

Finished making and installing a drop down Tailgate shelf. Light and simple, under $25 and all the stuff was from Lowe’s.. I think this is only good for 25 lbs. For now this will do for a place to set my tackle box when lake side at my favorite fishing spot. If I end up using it alot or need a heavier duty on,e I'll probably just buy one from Outback.
