Went to the dealership this morning for oil change, tire rotation, and LED flash.

The LED flash looks to have worked. Low/high beams work together now and fogs are not blinking.

I'm kicking myself because I forgot to remind them about the 5L vs 6L of oil. The receipt says they put 6 in. Do I need do anything or will it be ok until next change?
Good question

Started working on my DIY Lexan half door windows that will mount to my JC Offroad aluminum lower doors. All this because Bestop is taking it's sweet time releasing 2 piece soft doors.

Freehand cut some fender vent blackouts and traced them with 1/4" pinstripe.

Why freehand when you can buy the exact same for like 30 bucks? I imagine you have to buy the actual vinyl in 2 different colors anyways. Wouldn't that plus the time sink potentially cost more? I'm sorry I'm always thinking about time investments doing any project... Because time is money too..

Looks great by the way.

Day 23
Installed Maximus-3 and Rhino rack. It was slow and time consuming. It was also nerve racking drilling through top. I had to remove 4 of the hothead panels to install Maximus-3 brackets. I can contest that the tape holds the headliners extremely well and I never performed the second headliner press after being in hot sun that instructions mention which would have made the tape adhere even better. I had to start wrangler, turn heat on and park in sun so tape would soften. That took a while because Jeep wasn't in driving condition..... Ughhh. I'm altering the headliners so brackets will go through them. I also removed all the controls on my Genesis dual battery system. Yes I paid $500 for a system only to remove 2/3 of it. Blasphemy you say?!! Maybe so but I want the capacity 10 times more than I want the safe starting battery. My ultimate preference would have been a starting battery isolator that engages around say 30-50% capacity vs the current 95% capacity you get from Genesis. I contacted owner but he couldn't change setting. The vast majority of Wrangler owners have a single battery with no isolator and they don't worry about their battery going dead. Why should I worry? I definitely love having twice the capacity though with true deep cycle batteries. If I'm going deep into the wilderness and plan to drain my batteries down deeply I might take the small second OEM battery with me as a backup starting battery. Apparently it will start the Jeep. I also want the 2 pricey Odyssey batteries to wear at about the same rate which they will now. In hindsight I should have asked Genesis if he'd just sell me battery tray. These are my words of wisdom for today..... Carry on.

Unlike yourself I've owned Jeeps my entire life

Not being an ass just being honest...which is why I dont have 33's. If you them fine

Those were my thoughts/opinion

Stop trying to tread water up stream you'll drown
The problem is your being honest only within your own opinion! Your opinion does not reflect the opinion of every other Jeep owner, or people that leek at Jeeps! So by making such a asinine comment you basically made the opinion of a jackass! You attacked all of the stock JLUR’s who have decided to take off their end caps and told them they now drove a roller skate, heaven forbid they replace their stock bumper with a stubby one!

You seem to be much like a boat motor in a septic tank! Makes no sense being there because all it will do is spread crap!

But if that turns you on go for it!

And owning Jeeps all you life does not make you any more supreme then anyone else. My first Jeep came in 1984 but my life eventually made me change until now. Simply loving Jeep life is all that matters!
