Dealer just called and my Jeep is ready! Going to pick it up this afternoon! And I got a golden ticket emailed this morning...perfect timing!

My Rubi has been done for 6 days, it is traveling via truck only 2.5 hours away to the dealer yet it is still sitting in Toledo. Come on Jeep just ship it, tomorrow will be 3 months. The delivery dates were set between Feb 2-6

Hi guys, new member here so I placed an order for my all white matching hard top sahara on 1/24 and by 1/26 I got my VIN# my dealer told me on Sat that my status was on painting, but I called today and he said it's D1 so now I'm confused I thought D1 was BEFORE you get to building?

And to think... I was stuck in I for like 5 days. Then I graduated to JS - which is the same shit. Going on my 3rd day in JS now.

The light at the end of my little tunnel was just an oncoming train.

I'm at exactly 21 days (3 weeks) now in status "I". FCA refused to update me on the reasons for it after asking for escalation at chat, due to being "dealership stock order". Just got their email today.
So, I'm waiting for my dealer to update me on what is going on. Hopefully I get some answer from the dealer today.

It looks like even though you ordered a bit back, it didn't get a VIN till 1/24. Hopefully it moves along for you.

I have a POC from my dealer dated 1/2/18 that has my VIN # on it. Obviously my Jeep must be on the slowest possible build schedule. I stay stuck in each stage forever!!

That is correct. D1 means the parts to build it are available. Paint is part of the build process. Either he was wrong the first time or he got some old information. Based on the date of your order, D1 sounds appropriate. With your VIN, you can try to get some info through Jeep Chat:

It is being delivered next week to Koon's so I told her about it so we can make plans.

She wanted to see the JLU and the color so we took a 4 hour road trip and drove 4 and looked at colors.

When she saw the Ocean Blue on a Chrysler 300...................

Well, Craig let me off the hook for the one I ordered and let me order an Ocean Blue JKUR exactly equipped and transferred my deposit.

That is service for a customer that is 900 miles away.

BUT - Now the wait begins again and I have to wait to see if I can get on tracking.......... Crap!

Fun times had by all..........

I have also ordered an Ocean Blue JLUR. I paid my deposit last Thursday and the order got placed on Friday. Still waiting for VON.
