Genius man!!! Thabk you
You could probably easily use the license plate light that comes with the bumper without any modification (cutting of the LP mount) but I thought it was a bulky and ugly light, so I went with the small LED screw ones.

Put on a new Barricade tire carrier with backup camera. Fun "Get to Know Your Jeep" project that took 300-400% longer than the prescribed 2 hours due to the need for some customization. Overall super happy with the result though.

Ive done a few upgrades.

Last week i did the front smittybilt xrc bumper and x20 winch.

This weekend i did....

1. XRC rear bumper
2. DIY license plate relocation and LEDs
- Wired the rear bumper LEDs to the license plate connection
3. Red shackles - front and rear
4. Rubber mat (might have mentioned this one already)
5. Pro Comp 17x9s

Looks great! Quick question, how did you connect the rear XRC lights? I was going to connect to the reverse lights but was thinking otherwise.

I tied them right into the license plate light.

Technically not suppose to but discussed with 2 LEO gym buddies and they told me its fine. Nobody is gonna stop me unless they really wanna be a dick. As long as its not flashing red and blue

The lights have a Y connection that connects to the extension run to the battery. I cut it half way to have just in case. Then spliced right into the LP light

Thanks for the info! I’m not sure I’m brave enough to do that in SoCal but your rig is looking good!

Haha yea, I think FL might be cooler about it. Worst case scenario its a simple unplug from the lights themselves and as i stated, i kept the cable and can just connect it with the switch or maybe to the reverse. I just like how they look on at night

I took advantage of Metalcloak's free shipping today and ordered the FAD skid and steering stabilizer relocation bracket. Should hopefully be waiting for me when I get home next week with enough time to install before I take her offroad for the first time on the 27th.

Does it have an odor of any kind?
If you stick your nose to it, smells like rubber lol

No, no odor. I vacuumed the back, sprayed a little bit of my Chemical Guys leather scent, put the mat down and thats all. Before my subwoofer was sliding all over the place. Stays completely still now. Its a good rubber.

The ONLY thing is, if you have a BIG spill of any sort, it wont contain it well like some other liners ive seen that have high edge lips. Small spills will be fine.
