@CrusifixI've installed full racing stripes and wraps on dozens of cars. I've ordered graphics fro. Pixeldecals.com before, and they were great. However I dont know if they switched vinyl brands or what, but whatever Walmart level vinyl they sent me to use for my fender vents was the most ill fitting unforgiving pieces of thin as plasticky vinyl I've ever come in contact with. I will not order anything fro. Them again. $40 down the drain. I got them installed, but they just looked like cheap shit, so I pulled them off and tossed them. Very unhappy guy here that usually has a very long fuse.
Maybe I'm too picky, but for the price, I was expecting better quality vinyl. It's not worth the hassle at this point, as I doubt I would be happy with a replacement that they would send I will just get my vinyl guy to make some from his Oracal 970RA or 3M stock.@Crusifix
If chitty as you say, then @pixeldecals needs to send you better product or give you a full refund.
Did you even reach out to @pixeldecals? He is a nice guy and responds to messages almost instantly. Im sure he would of helped you and bashing them on the forum is not the way to do it.Maybe I'm too picky, but for the price, I was expecting better quality vinyl. Wow, I just reread what I wrote, and it was a bit harsh and poorly written..LOLI've installed full racing stripes and wraps on dozens of cars. I've ordered graphics fro. @CrusifixI didn't even realize they were vendors here. It just put me in a bad mood. I had already put a good decal in my shopping cart and was getting excited about it. I was just disappointed in the vinyl. I will always give an honest opinion. Nothing should prevent that.
I did that too. I took the ones I had made to my local vinyl guy who did them in a bright green and in one solid piece, not two pieces of vinyl stuck on top of another. Plus, my local guy uses 3M and the difference in thickness and quality was quite noticeable.Maybe I'm too picky, but for the price, I was expecting better quality vinyl. No problem at all with your post. Speaking honestly is great and don’t get enough because everyone always thinks you have to hide the truth and give a company or vendor all these chances first. Get it right the first time. If you don’t then that is what forums are for to make other people aware. Also gives the company an opportunity to make it right and get the kudos for resolving an issue because they do happen.Wow, I just reread what I wrote, and it was a bit harsh and poorly written..LOL
