I already own a different hammock, an Eno (see manufacturer’s pic below), so when I get my JL in I’ll see how it fits and post a mini-review. My guess is it’ll be too long for my JLR but would work perfectly in a JLU.

You will have to make a adjustment on the length for your 2-door. I posted my video that shows how I worked around the length problem.

Thanks...need a shorter one for a 2dr. I'm 5'-8" - curious to see if I'd even be comfortable or not.
I'm 5'8" too. I used a standard hammock but made adjustments for the length. I just posted my video at John's request so everyone can see how I got it to work out.
It's comfortable to me. Once I got it hung and got it in, I could feel myself dozing off! The nice breeze helped that, too, I think! :)
I bought the hammock that when you flip it over it has a sewed-in mosquito net. Love that! This is the one I got:

Guess we all shall find out in a day or two then. I ordered it yesterday.
Sweet!

I'm happy to see another option and it looks like it wont hold as much heat or weigh nearly as much as the other options. I might have to order it from Chris @Northridge4x4 along with some other goodies.

Gotcha. The more I think about it, the more I’m pretty sure this isn’t going to work for either of us (my Jeep is a 2-door also). Plus I’m 6’3 so I need even more room to stretch out. Most likely I’ll end up using the jeep as anchor point #1 and then I’ll have to find something else to hitch the other end to. Or just find two trees as is tradition.
Yeah, 6'3" might be pushing it! I'm 5'8" and it works great in my 2-door. You should give it a try, though, in your JLU. No reason why it wouldn't work; though you may not think it's comfortable enough. The Jeep being an anchor is a good idea. And the 2-tree method ALWAYS works!!! Lol!
When I camp, I'm a tent camper; but I always bring my hammock to hang just for my afternoon naps!

And it looks to cover at the truly vulnerable spots. My exhaust is hammered, so I'd like to get this on and get that fixed.

I'm fairly sure it's just what I need. I haven't heard from Chris but I think I'll just order it online.

I like your hammock. A bug net is a must in my opinion, and it looks fairly light.

Not a bad install at all, especially considering i did it after a long day. Looks and feels very stout.

That’s looking great. Whatever the weight it has to be better than these full belly skids.

I’ll feel better with it in place. How long did it take?
