Have most of your miles been in 4H?

That might explain the 12mpg.

I only briefly put mine in 4H on a snowy side street. Otherwise, all of my miles are in 2H.

99% 4H since Ive has it (freezing rain and snow).

On my ride to Atlanta, about 150 miles, I got 22.1 mpg. With speeds mostly ~75mph.

At what speed are you guys finding that the auto transmission shifts into 8th gear?

Dunno, its smooth as butter, I know when shes in the lower gear but I cant tell much of a difference while just going, ill keep an eye on RPMs though, unless theres a setting that says what gear its on?

Is there no display of what gear it's in? I thought it was the future already.

Why is 4H that much worse? Is there really that much extra heat being generated by the front drive components?

Don't AWD setups usually only get like 1 MPG worse than 2WD?

Oh interesting - although I do have a stick

I have both, the JK is MT, but no cruise control.. so it’s always about throttle modulation because it only shifts when I do and onoy gets gas/throttle when I provide it.

Sahara and 3.73 gears.

You mean Sahara and 3.45 gears, so an even larger gulf between Rubi and Sport / Sahara axles.

Remember the 3.73 is supposed to come for the diesel (it supposedly is to also be optioned for the Rubi, but not yet).
