I thought the same @MORTON when I first picked up my Jeep.

They look really really good though, especially the ones in the back. I'll upload a full picture tomorrow if I remember.

Being lifted on 35's the amount of spray and kick up that gets all over the side of the Jeep can be a lot, the mud flaps do help curb this.

If going offroad the roblocks easily come right off.
Make sense man my sides get super dirty but underneath gets 50 times worse haha

Def hear you on that

Only suggestion I have for that, is after going through mud...drive across a small river to rinse
;)

Just saw a Jeep commercial...I love Jeep commercials:dance:

Got some cheap mods out of the way: stubby antenna, decals, Jeep logo door light, and plasti dipped the badges black.

Added but no pictures: OCD center console organizer, red flashlight with roll bar mount, and Mopar floor liner.

Going to plasti dip the grill black next weekend!

Just cut off my pinch seams behind rear tire, I was rubbing on them fully stuffed since I moved rear wheels back in wheel well... It’s a bit unnerving taking a grinder with cutoff wheel to your 50k rig. :whew:. Lol.... I packed them with JB Weld, then I’ll sand it a little and hit with touch up paint when it gets here. here’s pics....:)

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I like it. Very "beefy", quite heavy. Both parts (body & pin) seem have a really nice finish on them. I always expected to go with Factor 55, but Warn showed these off at SEMA (I only saw it through Youtube). The Sidewinder I found online for about $100 vs the FlatLink for $150. And as the picture below shows, you need to immediately add a shackle to the "55" to connect to anything right?

I just felt the Sidewinder is more practical that it ends as a "Shackle". I can connect directly to the D-rings I added to my Jeep, or to D-rings so many aftermarket bumpers have on them. Just one less thing in the mix.

And, like the Factor 55, it protects the winch line nicely when its wound up (no synthetic line hanging out to get roughed up).

Thanks for a great writeup. I'm surprised it's not more popular, although I realize it's pretty new. Maybe if dealers would put it in the winch hook section instead of the shackle section...

Is yours black or gunmetal?

Call Teraflex to order the tie bar clamp bracket. There's another thread on here to swap it onto your shock - use a torch on the main bolt for 2 mins then reverse remove it with an allen key - it takes some muscle but it comes right off, then bolt on the new clamp mount. I removed mine but am waiting for the new clamp to bolt back on, then I will do the install. Synergy, MetalCloak, and apparently Steer Smarts (if you have their setup) make brackets to complete this SS flip - the other end of the shock basically.
