I also got those lights. I’m glad they are a true 9 inch headlight. I wired the halo to my drl. I’m really satisfied.

Is it easy to wire the halo to the driving lights? Do you know if the mopar LED's have the halo wired to the driving lights?

Halo's on the LEDs will still be ON when DRL's are turned off through the UCONNECT screens. That's how I have been running mine.

I think my Jeep was angry that I haven't wheeled it in a while...

It took 17 minutes for the Jeep to roll down the driveway. It was in 2nd gear and the weight of the Jeep going downhill was turning the engine over. It finally reached a point where it could turn it over continuously and then hit the shed.

Damn, that SUCKS. Glad you have a sense of humor about it! That's why I always park mine in the gear that opposes the slope. Uphill in 1st, downhill in Reverse.

Yeah. I knew better. Fighting with girlfriend doesn't make for a clear mind. I wish I could blame this on her, but I can't. Haha. It's my dumbass fault. Been parking my cars up there for 13 years. Never had an issue. Just a brain fart on my part and didn't set the parking brake, which I'm religious about doing.

I texted the girlfriend and asked her if it was weird that I'm not even mad about it. I just looked out my bedroom window laughing inside. Wtf can you do at this point? Lol. It's really ok. Insurance will help out with the shed and the Jeep did well. I'm not really too worried about it at all.

Sorry to see that happen to your Jeep but it looks like the shed got the worst of it and the Jeep just got some scrapes.

Thanks man. The shed did get the worst of it all. Just some paint scrapes on the Jeep. Mine is pinstripped like no other right now, anyway, courtesy of the Virginia mountain trails. Nothing on the Jeep broke. It hit pretty slow.

My backyard continues downhill at about the same grade as the driveway for another 30 yards or so and then there's a creek.

You may be right on the sub sound being you have that cargo storage plate over it, so with the tailgate closed the bass will bounce and reverberate much more. Like a box inside of a box.

Is your box ported?

And yes, of course the amount of speakers makes a difference. If your comparing wal mart speakers vs high quality then the amount of speakers doesnt matter.

But comparing high end speakers systems against each other the amount absolutely matters...more speakers = much better surround sound with much more fullness.

What makes you say "blows away stock alpine"?

You have 4 less speakers than stock.

My "stock" Alpine bumps...and I've had systems all my life. For 1 sub and 8 speakers it's pretty impressive. And I lose no cargo space. Oh, and it's also water resistant.

Hitch safe is pretty cool!! I like the cover, I wonder how the mechanisms will hold up to condensation or moisture.

For the hitch, water will never get to the mechanisms as they are covered with the thick ass rubber cover. Unless you leave the rubber off! (Also water wont get in the pin slots on the actual hitch as those are sealed).

It is some good soap have not run into a bad product from them yet.
We went to Colorado and first thing after getting bags out was to wash all the salt and de icer off I can't imagine having to wait all winter. I went through a gallon of windshield fluid while we were there

With that rubber cover you will get condensation in the hitch and on the mechanisms.
