What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Installed the Carr 180 degree light mounts. Added an extra hole for my second pod. This bracket is way over priced but I am very happy with the outcome. Now I can fold my windshield down if I want to.

I was born in NorCA, lived around the US and the rest of the world, settled in East TN. I've figured out there's pros/cons to everywhere. Just for comparison, here's what I paid:

Jeep:
$3250 (7% of Jeep sales price for state tax) <-- one time

Driver:

No state income taxes.

Hahaha very well put. I will count my blessings. I do wish very badly that I could get a carry permit here....but you know how how strict this state is when it comes to anything that starts with the "G" word haha.

Installed my Mopar soft top kit. With help, it could have taken less than an hour. The top assembly is heavy and bulky to handle by yourself, but can be done if you’re careful and take your time.
So far I love it, very little noise at highway speed, I would say almost equivalent to the hardtop in that respect.

Looks good. Did you from Mopar or another seller? What did it cost? Thinking of buying one or the Bestop. Why’d you go with Mopar vs others? Thanks!

I completed installing some cab lighting today. Brawlee led on the glass and an LED strip on the the top of the cab. The LED strip in the cab is glued onto a velcro strip with the other half of the velcro adhered to the headliner with iron on Velcro.

Both lights are controlled by switches with the LED in the cab tapped into the dome light and the brawlee tapped into the 12v supply. Both switches have red LED rings powered by the dome light so their only lit when the dome light is on.

All the wiring is as hidden as possible running through the hardtop.

How do you like the stealth hi lift mount? Do you have any rattling at all? I was looking at that one for my trip this summer, don’t really like the looks of them on the outside.

Installed Springtail tailgate table with riser. Super easy and a really nice fit. A bit expensive but great quality. Also installed some protective backing for the steel bumper. I used a garage floor tile piece for the backing after using a piece of cardboard to trace out the shape. Drilled a couple holes and installed. Nice, easy solution to protecting the wires and connections inside the bumper.

Also, installed the Tazer front camera. This was a bit time consuming and tedious but not super difficult. Love having a front view. My previous F-150 had 360 degree view, which was awesome to have. Just having this front cam is a very nice addition.

I have been contemplating doing the camera. What steps do you have to take to turn the camera on (make it so that it is showing image from the front camera. My fear is that I have to go into the tazer controls each time, would be nice if there was an easy way to activate it?
