I've been looking at the Rubicon 4 door with Mojito, black fenders, black dual top. The A,B,C pillars look dumb IMO painted green with the pics of the doors off or top down. Anybody else think this and paint the "stock roll cage"?

That's what i'm going to do if I pull the trigger.

I may wait for the scrambler. I'd love the same look, just with a truck bed.

Try using plastidip first then decide if you want to have them painted.
Whats plastidip? I'll have to look it up.

9 to 0 to not paint..... I I was going to play around with photoshop to see how it looked.

Im surprised so many voted no. When people put those bar pads on, it covers up most of the paint and makes it look black anyways.

That was me! I'm debating painting or plastidipping it as well. I like it being a black but I think a matt color would be best, think it might look odd shiny.

Someone asked this a couple of months ago. Here's a little Photoshopped image I made.

I would make it whatever color the black fenders are, i'm assuming a matte type.

paint or plastidip isn't a debate. plastidip isn't permanent, it's temporary to see if you like the look, then paint if you want permanent.

personally, i like the look. looks like a real roll cage, not an extension of the body.
