I'll be doing this next week end, package is in the mail. I'll have to check out your install video.

After I'm done with that I get to install the Gobi Stealth rack sitting in my garage.
That’s awesome, I should have it posted by then. One thing I will say, is it would have been a lot easier if I did the install of this prior to my roof rack and tent. I got creative last night hoisting my top with the @Maximus-3 rack and 160 lb tent while I installed the wing panels.

@voodoo11, today I tried to buy a FTM400 for my JL, sold out at all the main dealers. I was going to mount it the same as you have. Transceiver under the seat? How did you run the wire to the control head?

I got lucky on that. I've had the rack in my garage for a few weeks, haven't had the time to put it on... Then I saw the slipstream and placed the order last week. I'm holding off on the rack till the slipstream is on.

Good call holding off though. I drilled into the Slipstream to make room for my ladder bolts. Good luck on the install and I’ll work on getting that video up soon!

Smittybilt bumpers and winch install this weekend. Thought it would be easy, but I thought wrong. I have never seen sooooo much plastic with screws, bolts, nuts and braces, taking off the plastic bumpers. OMG totally over engineered. Glad I have some solid steel in front and behind me now.

I am now off road ready!

I have the same front bumper and winch. How do you like your rear bumper?

I installed a quick release setup on my Jeep Backbone, designed to facilitate rapid removal and installation. I used hitch pins to align the two pieces and latch hasps to clamp them tight. It's completely bolt on, no modification of the Backbone is required. Now I have to wait for warm weather to actually try it out. The five bolts in the picture are what the quick release replaces.

I had to wait almost two months as it was back ordered due to sale plus gov shutdown had customs trickle in.

I mounted it to the plastic kick panel on the right passenger footwell, near the aux wire loom. I did a small write up here. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/ham-install-yaesu-ftm-400-dxr.24285/#post-578261

Installed the LOD Destroyer bumper. Battery died on my impact and I’m to lazy to use a ratchet, so the skid plate will have to wait.

It looks so much better without the skid. My LOD slid's just taking up space in my garage cuz it's never getting installed.

I went and replaced my lugnuts for some black ones with red spikes...trying to bring in color. I also filled in the two blanks in the spare by using the dorman stud bolts spoken about on here. I also replaced my hood sticker. It use to be just matte black but I wanted more color so I redid the decal with a matte red border. I also bought a rubi take off suspension and have that to install. Is there anything that I should be aware of when doing the suspension? I’ve never done suspension work, but I have not been afraid to do other stuff to my Jeep. Is this something I should attack or should I find a shop to do it? Thanks for any info I know you all are willing to share.

What I did this week. One week into ownership and loving every minutes of it.
35” tires. 20” wheels. Window tint. Red brake calipers. Black exhaust. Rear brake light relocation.

Don't know if you care but it seems your Ridge Grapplers are mounted wrong. Your rear passenger and spare tires are mounted with one sidewall design while your front passenger tire is mounted the opposite way. Sorry, my OCD demanded I mention this. Nice Jeep!

Technically I didn’t do it, I had it done, but I finally got some new shoes. Really like the Moab wheels with the KO2’s!
