ThanksVery nice ^^^ One beefy Rubicon there!
I don't see why not. There is maybe 1/8 in gap between the diff and the plate. It would make contact I'm sure with the weight if the jeep. Can you jack up from diffs with these skid plates?

I just got mine today and starting the install -- when you run your hard top can you just remove the panel behind the seats to store the Freedom panels?Installed the Diabolical Slipstream Cargo area security system. This is like having a secure trunk in your wrangler. This is a well thought out product with a couple exceptions, they shipped with instructions for the JK and not the JL (which is significantly different), this added considerable frustration and installation time), Secondly the Powdercoat was very substandard as several pieces had a noticeable splattered finish.
Over all I am pleased, as far are security it is this is the BEST option and is well engineered however quality control could use a little tweaking.

The Rails on top allow you to use the deck as a 2nd level and you can strap down anything on top

The Top Deck folds back for more access (you can also remove the top deck by removing 4 pins located in each corner (takes about 1 minute to remove)
![]()
You can also just open it up completely

For quick access for small items there is a lockable door located right behind the drivers side rear seat

One of the big complaints with the soft tops is safely storing the windows , this is a bag I got on Amazon that holds all the windows (rear window id folded with a filler to prevent creasing. Here is a tread that shows storing the windows https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...3-the-cost-of-mopar-and-more-fuctional.17482/
As you can see it is a perfect fit with room left over and now I do not have to worry about my windows walking off when I am parked somewhere...

I have both the soft and the hard tops, the Diabolical Slipstream security system works well with both tops, being in Seattle it is hard top for a few more months so here it is with the Hard Top on

I also have the Flashcal and 315 K02 Load C tires and agree, after a lot of testing, that 34 is the best tire size setting. Flashcal does have an easy interface. The only other changes I've made so far are TMPS warning points and keeping the white fender light illuminated while turn signal is on. I didn't like that the white light completely turned off for the turn signal. Now it flashes white to orange to white to orange ....Yesterday, I upgraded my stock tire to 315/70/17 KO2 load C yesterday at Discount Tires. I actually had a quite pleasant trip to DT. Haven't been to DT for nearly 15 years, and last time I remembered slow work, yelling customers about someone marring his wheels, lazy employees...and yesterday I was so ready to fight with DT to mount 315 on my stock Rubicon wheels.
But nada, none of that drama happens. DT guy called me when tires are in, greeted me, upon checked my tires, they even offered $50 trade-in credit for each tire, that combining with the $50 rebate made a sweet deal. I know I can make more selling on shady CL, but going to be a lot of hassles. Tire guys changed my tires in less than 45 minutes right in front of me (of course with glasses). They took good care of the wheels, and even torqued the lug nuts twice, contrary to the horror story I heard people just free hunt with air guns.
So I know 315 especially load C is totally fine with the stock tailgate, but I still installed tailgate reinforcement kit. I got a really good deal of that from my local dealer (cheaper than the going used price here on the forum). I did also put on the brake light relocation kit to reclaim some rearview mirror estate. I became creative routing the brake light cables.
Just a reminder for people who has brake light relocation kit, you better start to carry long T45 and T25 Torx bits. Otherwise, I don't know how you can take off your spare in an emergency situation. The torx bits in the Jeep toolkit are T40 and T50...
After all these said and done, I reprogramed my tire size with Flashcal. Highly recommend Flashcal if you only do tire size, gear ration, and not interested in the light show. The user interface is so much easier. I fiddled with 33.75, 34, and 34.25, and found out 34 for 315 KO2 on stock wheels is dead on in all speed range. I am delighted to see I still have 8th gear time to time and my MPG is actually not all bad (from upper 19 to 18.5 on highway).

Install was not bad. Fit and finish of parts were great. (took about 4 hours)Very interested in this top for summer running. Would be interested in your thoughts on install, quality, etc. if it wouldn’t be too much to ask for some more pics from different angles with and without the windows. One last question, How do you plan on storing the windows when they are out?
It’s not necessary. The back panel fits flush against the seats anyways you’d only gain an inch or so.I just got mine today and starting the install -- when you run your hard top can you just remove the panel behind the seats to store the Freedom panels?
