Got a text today that mine should be at dealer any day but could stop in to see some that were delivered over the weekend. I declined and said would wait until mine was there. Funny thing is they told me well over a month ago that by putting money down that day it would move up in line and be delivered before the rest of the dealer orders. Mmmmm

Congratulations, she looks beautiful!
Being one of the first with the softtop, when the weather permits and you do take the top down can you take pictures of how far down the top will actually go? I know there was a video of them detaching some rails at the top rather easily, but it was never shown flat with both sides disconnected. In all the initial videos the top in the down position seemed to be such an eyesore.

@JLWF Dealer Guy I asked my dealer for an update, and he said he can’t track my order by my VIN. Previously he emailed me a screen shot that showed it as D1 with a ship date of 1/20. Is the system down or does he just not know what he’s doing? He is asking the inventory manager to check on the order-I would assume he would know how to look up an order (and it did let him look it up before).

Last JL to my dealer came by truck, so who knows?

They only come to my area (Baltimore) by truck. What you see on your current status is exactly what I saw 2 days before it arrived on a truck.

True, I didn't look at it that way.lol. For whatever reason, they truck them from Toledo to Baltimore though.

Jeep Chat escalated my issue. I got a response today from Customer Care. For reference, I ordered on Dec 1 and @JAY showed me in D1 on Dec 5. (It seemed too good to be true and in retrospect I guess it was.)

Hello Kurt: Your file was escalated to our support team by an agent and the response came back as: there is nothing wrong with consumers vehicle order - it has only been in D1 status for 19 days and can take up to 30 days in this state. Mine hit KZ 1/10, left the rail yard on like 1/20. It was loaded up but seemed to just sit there. I assume there are a lot of JLs and multiple other models at that point waiting to ship which causes the delay. My eta is 1/25-1/30 which seems like a huge window for delivering a car. You'd think they know exactly where it will/should be. They propbably do but the tracking is behind would be my assumption.

I called FCA today for an update to make sure everything is on schedule which I was told last week the delivery date was between 1-24 & 1-30 and now she said that it has been pussed back to delivery between 1-28 & 2-3. (I received the original delivery date on 1-19 and told that the last update was it was on a train in Illinois on 1-17 so did the train engineer take a four day break?)

Awesome! That’s what mine will look like except I got the other wheels. What a beauty! Can’t wait to hear more about it... also can’t wait to see mine! Should be here in less than a week.
