I plan on a 1" spacer and a 3" body lift and it'll be fine with 37's..

A 35" tire in theory provides 1" less clearance inside the fenders compared to a 33" tire. It wouldn't take much to make a 35 fit properly if it doesn't work out of the box. A 1" body lift should do the trick?
I'm going to wait until a good 2-3" lift kit comes(not Mopar) out so I can go straight to 37s.

Eacatly, if he can fit his finger in there still that basically means it will just barely rub on the inside. So a 2" lift should be perfect for 35s and full travel. Even a 1" body lift and -12 offset might give you full articulation

He posted another set of pics with him flexing no problem, no lift, no rub....-12 offset! We’re good to go. I’m adding 2” lift anyway but just wanted to make sure that people realize that yes you can fit 35s...

Im not trying to cause an argument but this is not flexing....it doesnt even look like they disconnected the sway bar. I doubt those fit at full flex, does it matter though? no it does not. The ability to rock 35s is all Jeep ever told us, and you can clearly do that. Can you max flex them...probably not, but Jeep never said that.

Your going to throw a 1" spacer and 3" body on a brand new Rubicon? To each their own, but body lifts and spacers are never really a "good idea" for an off road adventure. Spacers can cause springs to pop out at full flex, and body lifts make a Jeep more top heavy than it already is with no performance value.

Not arguing either but I wholeheartedly disagree with you on this. On a vehicle designed to disconnect a sway bar with the simple push of a button, saying a certain action, 35s fits (or works) should pertain to ALL circumstances. If it doesn't, it's misleading. Now is misleading a huge problem, maybe not. BUT if someone does throw 35s on and then has damage they try and get covered under warranty, how does that play out? Not covered because not factory? Argue covered because FCA said it's fine? I don't know but it will be interesting to see.

I thought the same. But reading between the lines makes me think the terminology is incorrect. I think he means 1" wheel spacers to push rims/wheels outward and likely 3" suspension lift. I could be wrong but that's what i expect was meant.

When FCA states that 35" tires will fit on a Rubicon, they should fit under all circumstances for which the Rubicon was designed for. If not, that will potentially create issues for FCA's marketing of the Rubicon.

you guys bring up valid points @bilash31 and @Andy2434. I wonder if there is some disclaimer on file...because you are right, what if you run 35s like they say you can, then end up popping off a fender flare....or even damaging those electrical connections/exhaust lines that tucked up in the passenger rear fender area now for the moved Evap canister. Can they deny warranty work?....very good points.

don't know who "they" are but this is what Jeep says about it in their performance parts catalog.

That's another good reference. Thanks. "They" we are referring to is essentially Mark Allen stating 35s fit in several videos. Can't remember if Mike Manley said it also during reveal. But "they" essentially speak for FCA.

In the video posted with Allen, he says you can fit 35s as is OR a lift, whichever you prefer. Sounds like a qualifier to me.

I'm sure 35's will fit just fine but they will probably rub at full articulation. The high top fenders seem like an easy enough fix.
What I'm really wondering is how the stock drive shat is effected with the 2" lift and 37's.

Nah. He is product selling a lift kit. Listen again. He says "either way you want to do it."

That in essence is the conversation. You and I have a different definition of the word "fit" if there is rubbing under full articulation.
