Not my video, just sharing it.

At full articulation, the 33's are almost rubbing the upper fenders on both front and rear.

35's will definitely make contact.

That's good to know. I hope some lift kits start showing up soon.

Jeep says you’ll need a 2 inch lift, other then that it’s ready to rock 35’s.... they never once said no lift is needed.

Of course, not all 35" tires are the same height or width. His may simply be larger than the ones Jeep tested against.

UPDATE: Oops, I see, he's using stock tires. Definitely odd.

You clearly didn't watch the video, nor read the actual post you are responding to.
He did read the post, I think he’s just commenting that Meyer distributing on instagram has 35s on their Jeep with no lift and they say it doesn’t rub. So it is just conflicting.
My guess is they are fine with 35s on the street but will eventually need a lift.
Although Meyers Jeep looks to have plenty of space in that pic...

Also he can still fit a finger in there...I think it will just touch with a 35 and with a wider offset...Meyers said his wheel is -12 offset it might be good. I’ll message Meyer and ask him

He posted another set of pics with him flexing no problem, no lift, no rub....-12 offset! We’re good to go. I’m adding 2” lift anyway but just wanted to make sure that people realize that yes you can fit 35s...

Let's be real here; 95% of people that put huge tires on their truck/jeep never leave the pavement, so 35" tires with oem suspension will indeed 'fit' for the vast majority of their customers.

Tell him to disconnect the front sway bar and try again for accurate comparison to video and real off-roading situations. What he is doing is no more than street driving. THIS is where the biggest confusion comes into play when people say 35s will fit or not. That video clearly shows disconnected, the stock 33 barely fits. No way 35 clears there.
So on street 35 fine. Off-road disconnected not fine.

Oh I agree, but my plan isnt to wheel without a lift. It makes my decision easier of me swapping wheels and tires out while they are new so I can more easily sell them and once metalcloak drops their lift I'll be installing it. Until then just mall cruising

I was concerned about this situation back when Jeep mentioned 35s would fit.

On my CJ when the axles get crossed up hard on a trail and the front wheels are turned, a front tire will sometimes want to have the fender flare for lunch. There will be a rubbing noise and sometimes the front fender shakes, and the flares shows some wear. Here is how much I cared when that happened. (Insert two minutes of silence here.) Yeah, that much, lol. But the problem for Jeep - they are selling a 30/40/50 grand vehicle to every Tom/Dick/Harry who will be showing up at the dealership complaining because their front fender got some scraping! Jeep might rue the day they said the Rubi can handle 35s.

And yes that Meyer Distributing photo is showing what looks like not max front axle articulation. As mentioned though, majority of owners will not hit the fenders with 35s, because they will not be off-roading. There is already a photo in a different thread showing 35s on a Sport no problem - long as the owner is not tying up the axles off-road.
