Installed on my 2 door, today. Not gonna lie, it’s a pain in the ass. I wasn’t too anal about a tiny air bubble here and there, either.

Hopefully, it was worth the effort. Cheap insurance!

You’d have to be crazy to try cutting and fitting this stuff on your own. The precut from R3 is well worth the cost, IMO.

After seeing that this could be a issue for all of the above reasons we are starting development on pre cut paint protector film pieces for the effected areas to make it easy for every one that wants to protect these areas with out the hassle of buying a roll and hand cutting the PPF to fit.
I just ordered your precut pieces for my soon to be here JLUR. Does the package come with really good instructions on how to prep/install?

All Terrain tires:
Pro's = quieter and better road manners
Con's = they pick up rocks

Mud tires:
Pro's = don't pick up rocks
Cons = noisier, wear faster, not as smooth

Had a set of BFG AT's on a YJ...before they were called KO2's. First thing I noticed/didn't like..........they pick up a lot of rocks.
Never had another set since. Currently running MT's that stick out beyond the fender flares. 4K miles and no rock chips. Also no more tail gaters!

I got mine in the mail today. I am crazy anal about my cars. Get the Jeep on Thursday. First mods are seat covers, Weathertecs and the R3 hinge covers. Install time, I can deal with. Chipped paint on a $50K car, I cannot.

100% worth the effort. I put mine on as soon as I got my Jeep and they work great. No chips, and you can’t tell they’re there.

Awesome. Glad to hear it. Which hinge is the “bullseye” for rocks? I would assume the two lowers on a 4 door but not sure. I would like to start my install on the least likely to be hit and move to the bullseye.

I have a 2dr, so I’m not sure on a 4dr.
