Hello Jeep Cares, just picked a 2018 JL 2-door Rubicon and within 100 miles I noticed the “service shifter” warning light. The first time I noticed it was the second day of ownership. Under the hood there was also a strong coolant smell. I called my dealer immediately and it is now waiting for service.Hello JL owners,

One other important bit of info is that when I took the Jeep for a test drive, the first time I put it in gear I noticed the the “P, R, N, D” did not light up. I mentioned it to the salesman and he told me you have to look in the dash. So, it had the problem before I took ownership.
I’m super frustrated but just hope this is a simple bug with a minor repair. I didn’t dump a hefty down payment on a vehicle to have it sit at the dealership.
Is this issue worthy of opening a case. Looking for advice @JeepCares
Thanks,
Jon
