FWIW, Jeep chat says mine went to D1 today. I ordered a Firecracker red JLUR with manual transmission and std soft top. My excitement is tempered though with everything going on.

Doesn't the window sticker have your name and vin on it?

I checked the spreadsheet and I am not on the D1 page yet, Jeep Chat gave me and ETA (I should go by the spreadsheet from what I have been reading) but i have noticed that a few people posted they also had been given information that their order was D1 and that ordered Firecracker Red. I also ordered a Firecracker Red Sahara, Could the color have something to do with the people who are getting different info from jeep &/or their dealers? Ok, I'm just looking for any reason to think that I'll have the Jeep sooner rather than later

I don’t know if it matters but it is the 3rd Jeep Wrangler we had built. It is coming from a dealership that started as a Plymouth dealer in the 30’s. They received one for stock and ours. They have 18 on order total all ordered the last week of oct.

@JAY @JLWF Dealer Guy , I don’t know if it will make it easier to track, but my VIN is below. Dealer still shows me in D1 and has been there for a week now. Still not showing on your tracking, so hoping maybe a VIN may work better. Thanks!

My lease ended the end of November and I was told I can extend it for 6 months. I really don’t want to extend it any longer then I have to since I’d rather be paying a loan on my new Jeep then paying the lease.

I talked to a friend who used to work for Jeep. He still has friends there, but now manages a dealership. He said FCA is having supply issues. The JL doesn't use a lot of recycled parts, particularly on the interior. Since a lot of parts aren't shared with other models, there isn't much slack inventory so they running out of parts causing delays. He said his friend doesn't seem to think it will be resolved anytime soon. I think we should be prepared to wait much longer...

I would say you are probably still in D, sorry to bust a bubble...and here is hoping they are correct....but 9 times out of 10 they are way wrong. I spent 36 days in D before going D1 (today). During those 36 days I got told all kinds of answers and updates from Jeep chat or the 800 number.

Trust the spreadsheet and your dealer. Not Jeep customer service people.

My estimated ship date is 1/25. If it does end up being built by then it will probably take about two more weeks to actually make it to my dealer. So that’s an estimate of 4 weeks after hitting d1. Although there is no telling what will actually happen.
