I’m not at the house right now, but from what I recall, it was pretty far towards the front of the adapter. I want to say 2 or 3 holes from the front.
I don’t know about everyone else, but I’ve never had a problem leaving mine hanging from the hoist. I pull in the garage and park with the hood under the hoisted top. I’ve gone as long as 2-3 weeks at a time.
Yes it is. I got it from Lange as a kit (Power Hoist-a-top) for my 2014 JK. They made an adapter so the bracket that attaches to the top works with the reduced spacing between the JL rear window opening.
Not speaking for him, but I ordered one from FactoryMoparDirect.com last week. Should be in Monday. $99 + shipping.

I’m still waiting. Based on all emails so far, it’s approved, but I don’t expect to see anything before April according to their estimated timeline. Will post here when it finalizes.
Well shucks! I’ve got mine in a bag waiting to install after getting the Lange Hoist-a-top JL adapter. I must be the strange one, as I constantly install/uninstall my JK spiderweb shade. Living by a marina, the summers can get a little fishy smelling. You never notice it until you leave the...
I’ve got the JK hoist from Lange. I guess I’ve got to figure out how to modify the rear of the structure that goes through the gap in the rear window and the top. I don’t think it will fit the JK. If anyone has any bright ideas, I’m here to listen and learn. I’m SO ready to get my hardtop off...
Thanks! They are 265/70/r18. Thought they looked great on the Rubicon’s. These are just about the same height as stock Rubicon but about 0.8” narrower. Pretty close to the same.
Thanks! It’s a little overcast this morning. I’m also hauling some music equipment around this morning if you’re wondering what looks funny on the back seat picture. (Can’t wait for the all weather cargo mat to be released!)
So made a few minor mods including the fuel door you can see in the above picture. Also put in the chrome door sill guards, which really goes well with this color combination. Even though I got the all weather floor mats direct from the factory, the holes were not cut out of the front carpet for...
My credit union (also coincidentally the one I used for my JL loan) was one of the participants. I included a screen shot of an email I received from the bank. I made sure it did not have my account number anywhere on the picture. They also ask for the dealership you purchased from. They say you...
Wow, that was quick! I got an email right away that they received my application and another that they were processing a day or two later. It took a while to say my eligibility was confirmed. That was in the subject of my email (now see that I cut that part off on my screen capture).
