I just got word I’m now D1 as well and have the same eta. I think we are gonna see another batch of us hit d1 in the coming update of the spreadsheet. Congrats man! I’m just excited... I’ve been waiting for over a year to order my Jeep and now it’s ready to be built!

Maybe Jeep is throwing out updates in chunks or something then since a few of us went D1. Cheers fellas and hopes are high! Can't wait to see the update from Jay today!

I contacted Jeep via Chat and asked them for a status for my order (ordered 12/16). At the beginning of this week they told me I was still "D" status, I checked again today and they gave me an ETA of 1/23.
I asked what the status was and they said "No status to report but the ETA is looking a couple weeks out, so very soon"
So I asked "What does the ETA mean" and this was the response - "Estimated time of arrival, that's the date we are aiming to have the vehicle at the dealer"
On the spreadsheet I am not in D1 yet.
So the question is should I listen to what Jeep told me and that my Jeep will be at the dealer in less then 2 weeks, or the spreadsheet and that I'm still in D.
I know noone really knows for sure, just wish we could get a straight answer
I wouldn't put much trust in either. The chat line and your dealer and this forum are all at the mercy of details put out by FCA, and according to what dealer guy has said, they all have different access to different data. There are many instances of inconsistent data across and within these methods of viewing the data. I only trust the forum tracking to be honest. My dealer has at least once told me what I wanted to hear. The chat/voice line people really have no idea what they are talking about and can't do anything. We do know the ETA changes frequently. Look at the tracking database and notice how ETA changes with every update. Some have gotten ETAs for dates a week in the past.

FCA really doesn't care if we know anything about tracking. If they did, they would go to the trouble to make it work. For those who said 'Give Jeep a break, it is a new build.' I agree, and if there are delays due to problems with the new build, I have no problem with that. But tracking systems are not new builds. There is no excuse for them to not have a decent reliable system in place, except that is not in any way a priority for them. (i.e. They don't care.) I have ordered new builds twice before and in a time when computers were not so savvy, yet the systems worked then. This is a major investment, they could show a little more interest in their customers.

I agree with all points, VOTS has been down for years. Tracking systems are important to customers in the digital age, but not required in any way shape or form obviously. It's sad, it sucks, etc etc etc....but regardless at least there is movement and dedicated folks like @JAY and @JLWF Dealer Guy to keep us informed when they themselves are volunteering this great service. I greatly appreciate all the hard work guys. As a customer I feel Jeep is failing on that end, and these forum admins are going above and beyond. Jeep could take a lesson from these individuals. (Or pay these two guys better! :giggle:). :rock::clap:;)

I ordered a loaded Sahara 11/2. I’ve been stuck in E status for almost 3 weeks. My dealer says I’m actually in F but can’t explain the delay. Any body have any info on reason for the delay?

Updated. Obviously still some disconnect as Ninty3saleen is showing as still in the truck pick-up phase while he reports it's been delivered. @Ninty3saleen please confirm you've verified and taken delivery and we'll take you off the list.

In other (hopefully) good news, @jeffblankenburg's JLU Sahara has been delivered!! :party::clap::champagne:

you both ordered from Koons, how did you find out you were in D1, jeep chat or craig?

Yep, I agree - this is bullshit. It's dirty play and I don't like it. My order had "Sold Order" so not sure why someone would think this is a good idea.

It's the same VIN that @JAY has been tracking and @JLWF Dealer Guy sent me some detailed tracking information clearly showing a "Ship to dealer changed" entry on the order.

Frustrated at the whole situation and hoping to hear more about some sort of resolution. I'll keep everyone posted.
I think my shows the same code as of Yesterday! "Shipped to dealer changed" #panicked!

Let me be clear to everyone on the forum - I'm not blaming @JAY , @JLWF Dealer Guy or anyone else on this forum for what happened. This has been and continues to be a great forum and I can't wait to be part of the Jeep community! Soon I hope!

I work for a multi-billion dollar conglomerate and I know shit happens that's outside of our control. There are so many moving pieces and ways this could have happened but I would like more of an explanation.

My dealer and his manager have been very helpful in this situation and I'm sure it will all work out in the end.

I checked with Jeep Chat and they gave me an ETA. I sent Craig an email also to see what info he has, awaiting his reply. I will also check on the Spreadsheet once it's updated to see if my info changes and I'm moved to the D1 spreadsheet

I hope your dealer is right. I also have a premium softop 6spd on order, was getting worried they were getting delayed in that configuration(I'm still in D, but only ordered on 12/30)
