So, it’s a double-edged sword. On one hand, I want me Jeep yesterday. On the other hand, my current lease will be up on Feb 21st and my Tread Lightly membership is effective Feb 7th. So, I’m hoping I get my beautiful Jeep on my birthday weekend and cover my bases. What are the odds I’ll get it in March? Also, who out there is currently renting a vehicle until the Jeep arrives?

My lease will be up March 18th, ordered my Jeep yesterday...so im crossing my fingers it will be here in time...would be nice if it arrived for my birthday at the end of February

Your Jeep is in D status which is the pre-building phase. The vin number is 1C4HJXFG6JW134975

Next stop is D1 which is the building phase.

Also you can contact Jeep customer care, give them the von and they call also let you know.

Not to me (forever in D) but to @newJLUguy who had the first JL “delivered “ of our forum. He is in TN but the delivered his Jeep to a dealer in OK yesterday.

Woohoo! Mine moved again! Now in JB, which is shipped to body vendor for stickers. It has apparently moved through J, which is passed final inspection.

I always thought they put the stickers on right in the factory? Maybe the "body vendor" is just a station on the production line where that stuff is done.

The ship date is showing on the spreadsheet as 1/2/18, so I'm not sure where my dealer got 12/27/17. Also, it shows an event "Informal Hold" "Vehicle Prep Hold" today. Not sure what that is. Maybe some adjustment or fix that was identified since it was built.

Anyway, I'm good as long as I see movement, so today's status change kept it going! I'm predicting I'll push the start button around February 1. Man, it is like a 10 year old counting down the days to a camping trip. I can't wait!

Quick update on my order - I called the dealer in Oklahoma and spoke with a sales guy there. I inquired about a granite crystal JL sport that was recently delivered and he said, "Oh yeah, the grey sport we just got? Yeah that was for an FCA rep. It's gone but we'll be getting more in soon". Someone at FCA hijacked my vehicle.

So, there you have it - my Jeep, that I've been waiting for since October is gone. Guess I'll have to get at the back of the line now.

Keep an eye on your order - hopefully no one else has this issue! I'm pretty upset and would like to know how this happened. Doubt I'll find anything useful or have anything resolved soon.

@Jabs I think we pretty much have the same Jeep ordered and I am still in D after 70 days. When do we just scrap this order and do a new one? Hopefully, all of this isn’t a sign that a new JLUR really shouldn’t be in my future!
