My dealer just sent me a text confirming final inspection status, "I", but saw something else strange. The ship date moved again. It has gone from 1/5 to 1/4 to 1/2, and is now showing 12/27/18. It would be entertaining, if I wasn't clamoring so badly to get it! Lol!

December 2018? That's got to suck man!

This is definitely NOT FUNNY. FCA is not inspiring confidence -- they look like a bunch of screw-ups.

no real thing. They can "hot code" a normal delivery once the vehicle arrives at the delivery train yard, but that only moves it along to the dealership a bit faster.

I can get better answers from a best buy geek squad weenie about my POS $200 laptop than I can a Jeep expert customer service rep about my $50k vehicle.

I called my dealer. I have been speaking every time to the owner because the person who ordered mine (sales manager) left the dealership. He had always been nice. Today he dodged my call. Got a call back from a salesman who said I was "still" in D1 (never in D1 on Jay's list). I asked if there was not someone we could call and get info from. Told him about order from 12/29 that is in J status. Said I was unhappy. Apparently the dealer walked up and the salesman tried to pass him the phone but was told just to tell me there was nothing else he could do. I don't think he really wants my business. Going to look for a nearby JLU and see what kind of deal I can get. I also have an appointment to test drive an Audi A4 convertible. Who knows what will happen. Don't want to sign another long-term rental contract coming up.

I just called fca told me my Jeep was in D1 now. Still ets ship date of 1/18.

Called FCA this morning and was told that the Jeep was shipped out on Saturday. It’s being shipped to Southern California. Does anyone have a good estimate on how long it takes
