@salex

A thought regarding the bottom compartment...... I think it would be great if your bottom compartment offering, had say 4 deep slots, that go all the way to the bottom and also say 2 (or 4) shallow compartments either on the ends or the on the sides. Right now... stock, the bottom compartment is a deep pit of sorts............When you are driving and need something kept in the bottom compartment, the stuff is way way down and a hassle to find, to get to , while driving.

Would be nice to have way, way down storage slots and also the shallows in the lower compartment, as I mentioned.

With this you would have shallows on top and lower compartment, both..

Hope I explained this so you understand...

I can say with certainty it is impossible to make a "one size fits all". Good feedback so far, much appreciated!

Not sure what you are referring to when you say "it is impossible to make a "one size fits all"

From past experience everyone has different needs. We are trying to come up with products that meet as many needs as possible without limiting usage of the console. It wasn't directed at any of the comments. The more feedback we get the better the product will be.

For those interested in the lower divider - How many sections/compartments would you like to see in the bottom of the console?
It would be great if it could be configured for 4 or 6 with one SKU. You could cut the slots in the material in a way that it could be configured for either 4 or 6. Similar to the plastic compartment holders have adjustable slots. Like this https://www.amazon.com/Container-Adjustable-Dividers-Art-Organization/dp/B073C9R2RY but would most likely be configured from the inside vs the edges.

We do something very similar to that in our glove box organizers. Thanks!

Do you have a link to it? And does it work for the JL glove box?

Currently the bottom compartment is a pit that stuff just gets tossed into so I am all for a multi level lower that allows room from cables and then the upper section have say at least 3 divided sections, I have looked everywhere for something so this would be a welcomed addition

JL glove box is a whole different animal because it is such a deep bucket. Working on that also and have a prototype that I am very happy with. Will start a thread for the glove box design soon. Nothing else we have would be close to fitting the JL glove box.

I’m interested in these organizers. I understand it’s impossible to make a one size fits all. Would a somewhat modular design be possible so people could make it fit there needs as best as possible.

@salex I'm glad you're getting traction here. Certainly, this mod, as small as it can be, it's a HUGE deal when it comes to keep stuff organized in the center console. Like others have said, the JL's center console is a huge and a very deep hole (that's what she said! whaaaaat?) that in fact can fit A LOT of stuff. Every time I open it looking for something, I have to spend at least a few extra seconds while going through my "stuff" so I can find what I'm looking for. Adding 4-6 dividers will be extremely beneficial and rest assured that once your product is out, I'll be one of your first customers to get it.

Yup, the "light bulb" came on yesterday after seeing some of the comments in the thread. It was snowing here all day yesterday and was a good day to bang out a design. I have a prototype designed modular and will have a set of parts later this week to try it out. I see the Silverado listed by your name. We have a couple products for it too.

Our Vehicle OCD products certainly offer a lot of "bang for the buck" . Might be in the top 10 for "least expensive JL mods". Under $20 for sure.

@salex, I just changed my vote from no to maybe. I'd be interested in something to hold garbage, but I obviously don't want to dedicate my whole console for that purpose. Just a little compartment with a lid where I could stick gum/straw wrappers, used napkins/tissues, etc.
