@Jeepmarkjl

I'm not sure how much you know about that little fire extinguisher... but it uses a technology developed for the space program in fixed installations. I think it is an Italian offering..

This hand held unit that fights fires by emitting a gas that interrupts the chain of combustion.

It's a totally clean extinguisher that does not rob oxygen and is totally safe and non-toxic and does not make a regrettable mess lets say when you use it...

I have more then one friend with high end sports cars, that have this extinguisher in their cars...

@Jeepmarkjl Can you tell how you mounted the holder. Did you use existing screw holes, had to drill or what?
And what's with the "clean"? If you have a fire everything or whatever is on fire will be charred - so whats the point of clean? Selling point?? I think so

Isnt that what a "normal" extinguisher does?
No, most extinguisher cool or smother the fire with water/foam. I know nothing about this specific extinguisher, but if it's emitting a gas, then it sounds like it's essentially throwing off the oxygen ratio needed for fire to burn. Oxygen is just as much of a fuel as whatever is actively burning. No oxygen = no fire.

If you spray water/foam on an engine fire, you will fry and damage everything in the engine. But if it's just a small fire that may only be causing local damage, putting it out using water/foam will cause more damage than that fire did. If this little guy is putting the fire out using a gas that essentially suffocates the flames, no damage will be done to the electrics around it.

So, the FOX 2.0 IFP look to have a smaller external diameter compared to the "Fox Mopar" ones ?

I thought they were the same except the full length...
Yes the new ones are 2" and the Mopar ones are 2.5"

I think the selling point is that it's about a 1/4th smaller than an extinguisher, doesn't make a mess, never needs to be serviced and has no shelf life. It's not something you use on a blaze but it works for most situations. For $120 it's an easy one for me to pick.

Clean meaning no residue is left over from the discharge of the extinguisher. So one less thing to clean up other than your burned thing.

Not trying to be a jerk, but what is that little thing supposed to do? Put out matches?!

How much chemical does that hold, looks very small..
Yes I paid 100 bucks to put out matches and not protect my Jeep.
I like to throw money away without doing any research or looking stuff up this thing called Google or YouTube.
Such a waste of time - looking stuff up.
