The only time I checked on mine was when I saw the entire parking lot of JL's in Ohio burned to the ground at the factory. I wanted to make sure mine wasn't one of them :P
First time? :)
Back in 2018, my build took a few months from order sheet to delivery.. and that was without a global pandemic that forced plant closures. 2 door builds normally take longer than 4 doors, in my experience. We are the unfortunate door minority on the assembly line.
The...
Our local shop has had a warning on the receipt to return after a few days after the rotation to check to make sure the lug-nuts haven't come loose. I can't remember when they added it, but I feel like it has been at least a year. We've always kind of laughed it off.. but after seeing this, I...

I installed a shrockworks front bumper on my Xterra after I did about 8K in damage hitting one. After that I hit about 5 with no damage.. just some blood and hair :)
The jeep bumpers look a little smaller, but the build quality leads me to...
I am always tinkering with stuff and bought a few packs of these for piece of mind.
They work perfectly!

edit: I probably should have read the entire thread. Oh...
Hm, not sure! I know my rear defrosters burned off because there are scorch marks on the rear glass and the little tabs are burned completely off. My rear defroster light still comes on though.. I think the mirrors are tied to it as well.
How in the world do you guys still have your rear defrosters? Mine burnt off after the first cold morning!
Oh well.. 16 months and 11k miles with no other issues.. :like:
Ah, now I see where I am confused. A year ago when I got my tires, the manufacturers website definitely said 7.5 - 11. When I looked today it was adjusted to 8. I stand corrected... and I guess some new rims are in my future :)
This is correct. I am running 35" STT Pros without a lift and rub ever so slightly with a 2dr Rubi. I'd imagine it is much more of an issue on other trims.
My favorite part about winter is pulling all of those BMWs out of the woods who tailgate the crap out of me on the back roads all year. I figure one of these days they might remember and back off a bit :)
My 2 door rattles, squeaks, bumps, farts (says my wife.. because it's definitely not her.), and everything else under the sun. Wouldn't trade it for the world :) When we want a quiet ride, we take her Mazda.. which is never because she loves giving people the Jeep wave.
We recently took it...
Save yourself the trouble and just do it now. Although, I think your San Diego weather is a bit more stable than our Pennsylvania weather.. so, you may just luck out :)
Just forgo the clips entirely and use the windshield bolts. My clips failed within a few days due to the temperature swings this time of year... so I followed the recommendation of a few users on here and lowered the windshield enough so could slip the bungees around the bolt holes. It has...
I applied the tape this morning and enjoyed my very first ride without the tailgate squeak/rattle since taking delivery over a year ago. Thanks for the suggestion! It's almost too quiet now. :)
