I received 6.5% off of invoice and it came out to about 10.5% off of MSRP on my Rubicon so I'm not sure where you are getting your numbers from.
You are correct it’s 13% plus I also do bonus drive additional 250.00 plus the dealer offered $1500 to use FCA financing, that’s how i had 15% in my head, that’s 15.8% off MSRP. Sorry My point was that 8% off msrp is no dealyou can't really say that 6-7% below invoice is 15% below MSRP. It completely depends on the build. My deal in Idaho is almost 8% below invoice but only 13% below MSRP. I'd actually love to see a build where 7% off invoice = 15% off MSRP. I don't think it exists.
Do you have anything on your paperwork that shows the $1500 more off to use their Chrysler finance. All the dealers I spoke to and went to in Illinois and Wisconsin either laughed or said there is absolutely no finance rebate through Chrysler. There are however 4 $250 vouchers availble if you qualify for ...but said they would give me at least one...whenever my order comes in. I want to get as much off as possible...hahaYou are correct it’s 13% plus I also do bonus drive additional 250.00 plus the dealer offered $1500 to use FCA financing, that’s how i had 15% in my head, that’s 15.8% off MSRP. And what is the rate on that FCA financing? You are correct it’s 13% plus I also do bonus drive additional 250.00 plus the dealer offered $1500 to use FCA financing, that’s how i had 15% in my head, that’s 15.8% off MSRP. Sorry My point was that 8% off msrp is no deal
You went from 15% to 13% off plus that is on a Rubicon with every single possible option. The majority of people are not going to purchase every single option.![]()

That 13% off
Dave Dennis quoted this and i know several who did get it and did a refi right awayDo you have anything on your paperwork that shows the $1500 more off to use their Chrysler finance. No Idea, I know the rates have gone up but who cares, you refi right away or pay it off, there is no early payoff feeAnd what is the rate on that FCA financing?
.8414 was the final but then the dealer fee of 350. Got it closer to 15%You went from 15% to 13% off plus that is on a Rubicon with every single possible option. The majority of people are not going to purchase every single option.
Like I said, 6.5% off MSRP equaled about 10.5% off my Rubicon order.
Ya my dealer just said again. Chrysler has absolutely no rebates for a wrangler if you use their finance. He said the only thing they offer is the rate of 4.9% which is almost double my credit union. What dealer did you get your new Rubicon from. I like to call and see what I can get. I’m in no hurry, just want like 10k off...haha. Since jeep has gotten so dam pricey. ... I mean these Rubicons cost almost as much as my new Corvette Z51 convertible...and I got 17k off it. I don’t mind traveling for it either..8414 was the final but then the dealer fee of 350. I was not talking about your purchase, also when you add in bonus drive and the extra 1500 on the finance its closer to 15% , no matter what I added to the build it was 7% below invoice so I did not look at anything but Rubicon’s but how does 6.5% add up to 10.5% not sure what that means. Either way it really doesn’t matter, these dealer that are saying 500 off MSRP is the best they can do are full of shit. They also tell you they will beat anyone’s price are also full of it.
The winds are blowing in higher rates and consumer auto debt is the highest its ever been, hence the 84 month loans, there is a crack in the system and these prices will come down.
Dave Dennis in Dayton offers the $1500 finance cash, they tell you that you must keep for 6 months, that’s BS there is no penalty for pre-paymentYa my dealer just said again. Ya they are nuts....just like a few dealers here in Chicago trying to charge $2495 add for all their wranglers, saying it includes 2 free oil changes and some 3m on the door openings and led break light bulbs. I laughed in the managers face. I’m like do you goes even know about the Jeep wave...they did not...and this is the largest inventory dealer in northern ILI was at a local dealership tonight looking around and saw that they had the sticker posted with the MSRP then had an additional sticker beside it with an added $2,499 called “adjusted market value”. Wtf?
Flim flam sneaks . That is exactly why I carry a big club when I negotiate at a stealership . When they see my big club they become nervous , and that's what I like .I was at a local dealership tonight looking around and saw that they had the sticker posted with the MSRP then had an additional sticker beside it with an added $2,499 called “adjusted market value”. Wtf?
Sounds pretty much like what we ordered. Our JLU Rubicon was around $56200. The dealer discount was over $7000. Plus tax, tags and $395 doc fee. This is my second Jeep, but it is my first Wrangler.
I am very bad at negotiating with sales person. Please help me set my base line. I am not too crazy about getting the best deal ever, but also I don't want to get rip-off a few thousand bucks. I am thinking to do an email negotiating this time. I hope it can help.
Windows sticker shows MSRP $56,335. What is realistic price I should pay for it? I am living in GA.
Thanks
