Suggest you RTFM

Yes, 130 ft/lb seems a bit much, but that is what the manual says.. When I put my Gorilla lugs on a couple of months ago, I did 130 ft/lb. and 59 ft/lb for the spare.

Yesterday when doing my tire rotation, I had my gal pal torque to 125 ft/lb.

Did this on Friday.... well, an irresponsible driver did this to me.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Geez... F*ck happened here? Obviously not a pretty sight... hopefully no one hurt.
I was at a T intersection, stopped at the stop sign, guy didn’t slow down enough to make the turn and plowed into the side of me.

Holy Crap! I assume no injuries? Sucks the big one for sure.
I have bruised soft tissue around my pelvis from the seat belt, scrapes and bruises from the airbag and the usual back and neck pain. Thankfully it wasn’t worse.

Because bright red vehicles are just so well camouflaged and blend in so well with *everything*, right?

I had a stupid woman "bump" me from the rear the other day... My JL is also red, so she should have no excuse about not *seeing* it. I posted about it, but apparently I wasn't politically correct enough and I offended some snowflake and the topic got censored. :(

What damage did you receive? Broken windshield from the sign? Airbags deployed? Any other damage or scratches? Looks like he got the brunt of it.
Doors are jacked up as is the rocker panel and pinch weld, jacked my steps up. Air bags deployed, windshield is broken, wouldn’t go into gear and sounds horrible when running. Not sure if there is any frame damage on the drivers side or not. His car is more than likely a total loss but he had no airbag deployment and they were not injured.

@BoisetheCat

To be honest with you, my gal pal (a petite gal that weighs 122#...) actually torqued the lugs for me, while I was busy doing something else on the JL. She used a 25" long, Mountain 16250 1/2-inch Drive Torque Wrench - 25-250 ft/lbs
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000JFL89I/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

She had no problem torquing to 125 ft/lb. Actually she would have no problem torquing to 130 ft/lb, (25" handle length on the torque wrench) but then I would play hell trying to loosen the lug nuts again.

By the way, I keep a 15" long breaker bar (1/2") with a socket in the JL, just in case I were to get a flat tire and need to crack/loosen the lugs.

Here is a recent pic of my gal pal, she was doing an oil change on my '01 Fatboy..

I have the same lugs and use eimpact, and don’t care, they aren’t that expensive. I have done way more damage to them wheeling,

You should be fine..
