5,937 mi. on my JL. Did a tire rotation.

Dam, those lugs were tight.

When I put my Gorilla Locking System Lugs on a couple of months ago, I torqued to the FCA, recommended 130 ft/lb. This time I went to 125 ft /lb.
lol like i was telling you bill i had a veryyy difficult time getting them off. went for 115 tq when after i rotated and everything is aok. i couldnt do 125 or even 120 lol. im 6'1 but only about 125 soaking wet. lean i call it! others call it skinny, either way at least i can eat whatever i want and not gain an ounce so that's something i guess lol.

Finished installing my @ROAM coilover kit. It is adjustable from 4-8" of lift. In these pictures it is set to 8", but I will be lowering it back down to 4" next week so I can fit in my garage :like:

Thanks! Yeah, i think i need to move up to 44s , Dana 80's, and a LS motor if I stick with the 8" lift. I dont think my wife will allow me to take out a home equity loan for all that :brokenhearted:
I will be going back down to 4-5" very soon which seems to work/look better with the 40s.

@BoisetheCat

To be honest with you, my gal pal (a petite gal that weighs 122#...) actually torqued the lugs for me, while I was busy doing something else on the JL. She used a 25" long, Mountain 16250 1/2-inch Drive Torque Wrench - 25-250 ft/lbs
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000JFL89I/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

She had no problem torquing to 125 ft/lb. Actually she would have no problem torquing to 130 ft/lb, (25" handle length on the torque wrench) but then I would play hell trying to loosen the lug nuts again.

By the way, I keep a 15" long breaker bar (1/2") with a socket in the JL, just in case I were to get a flat tire and need to crack/loosen the lugs.

Here is a recent pic of my gal pal, she was doing an oil change on my '01 Fatboy..

I was under the impression that the torque range for the M14x1.5 bolts that we have on the JLs was supposed to be 80-90 ft-lbs. When I put the Ram wheels on my JL the other day, I set the torque wrench for 88 ft-lbs for the M14x1.5 bolts that connect the JL to the adapters and 78 ft-lbs for the bolts that connect the adapters to the wheels. Those bolts are M12x1.5 and supposedly need 70-80 ft-lbs from what I read.

Spent today taking off the "euro guards" that blend the fender to the bumper on my Sport JL. They were rubbing when I turned too far to the side. These were LT275/65R20 tires and wheels from a Ram 1500 with 1.25" adapters and I installed them the other day.

Updated the previous post to show what it looks like with these removed...

@NavyVet1959

Per Owner's Manual:
Stock wheels --- 130 ft/lb torque for wheel lug nuts and 59 ft/lb on the spare tire lugs.
Hmmm... That seems a bit high compared to what I saw the other day, but it was just for bolt sizes, not for particular vehicles. Here's the chart I was going by:

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=107

Oh well, guess I need to take the wheels off again, re-torque the adapters to 130 ft lbs and torque the wheels themselves to close to that also.

Finally got the aux kit installed... The Mopar lights are no longer expensive ornaments. Dang things are brighter than I thought... they can light up an entire village & feel like they can melt thick ice. With the reflection on the bumper, I may have to slide them to the forward slots.

I was quite surprised when both the dealer rep AND the tech guy said they'd never installed the kit before. I expressed my concerns with this, but the tech put me at ease, so I handed him the box and he did a great job... install was clean & the flash was quick & seamless. I was also their first JL order back in February. I never thought I'd be a first...twice.
