have a 24 rubicon with the bestop trektop slant back top has anyone came up with an idea on when the rear window is rolled up and, on the jeep, how to secure in the up position called bestop but no luck

Great idea, it would be so much more convenient if i didn't have to remove the rear window every time and save myself 30 seconds lol. I'll take a look this weekend and see if I can rig something up with velcro

If you're going to roll up that window regardless - roll a towel in it (put it on the exterior, and roll it up so the towel keeps it from rubbing dirt against the plastic); it'll cut down on the scratches that make it hard to see out of. Old YJ trick... DAMHIK.

Unfortunately, there isn't really a built-in system to securely hold the roof when the rear window is up. Many owners simply use Velcro straps, elastic clips, or magnetic fasteners to keep the canvas in place temporarily.

The JK, and TJ had loops, i can't remember as far back as the YJ.

You can probably loop two straps on the rear bar to secure it, not sure if that is possible, I don't know anything about that soft top.

Have you looked at the EZ Window support arms? I have it on mine (OEM Soft top) & love it. You can also drive with it locked open.

They make it for your top.

True, but I don’t think it matters how many doors. You just need to select the proper mechanism for the particular top you have. In your case - the slant top…

edit: didn’t realize you were a 2-door also!

No problems at all. Nice air flow with no buffeting. The arms lock open with little pins - very secure…

It’s a Dometic Go faucet. I got it & 2 jugs from Amazon. The tailgate is aluminum so I double stick taped a round steel plate down for the magnetic faucet to attach to.
