The funny thing is, after all the angst associated with various delays (order placed in May), I’ll actually pick it up on the exact same day when I’m dropping off my leased car. Perfect timing. I could have saved myself a lot of mental energy if I didn’t fret so much along the way...

I agree. Never did care for everyone "piling in" the back seat. I had a TR7, and a couple MGB's and never had a problem saying sorry only room for one. I am on my 4th 2 door Wrangler and always took the rear seat out of them all.

Timing couldn’t be any better: I’m off work until Monday, so I can pick it up right away and break it in on local roads rather than on the I87.

Pics and driving impressions to come soon! I’m so grateful to all of you for making this wait fun and engaging. Discovering this great community makes me even more excited to become a Wrangler owner (and I didn’t think that was possible!).
