I’ve been looking at the flashlight mount that Fishbone Off-road sells but the ad says it only fits thru 2023. Talked to Fishbone and they said it was due to airbag systems. I wasn’t aware there was any airbag equipment in the center of the rear roll bar behind the backseat. Can someone verify if there is or isn’t something there. The one I’m looking at is: https://www.fishboneoffroad.com/products/rear-roll-bar-flashlight-mount-jl

If mounting location is an issue, what other options are available?

Thanks

The Jeep Performance Parts Grab Handles were also re-done in 2024+ to account for the airbag system. Only references I can find though mention front/rear SIDE, not back behind the passengers. They're also indicated by "airbag". Suspect they meant for the side install vs that rear crossbar you referenced. They sell 2 models - I ordered the rear crossbar one. Will keep ya posted.

I had that one, but it snapped when trying to install it. The replacement did the same, so they refunded my money. It's almost like my seat is somehow a different design.
Mine went in with such great difficulty and I was sure its going to break......but after a lot of struggle I managed. I think I heated it a bit too

Are you installing it on a 24 Rubicon X Unlimited?

It installed in my 2018 and 2021 with no issues. Yours is a 2022?

On a side note, you can get a flashlight that is magnitudes better that a Maglight from Streamlight, or Pelican. I keep a rechargeable one in the console that is smaller, lighter, and will outshine any C or D cell Maglight.

Definitely keep me posted on how it fits. Thanks
Doesn't work. The roll bar is shaped different so the mount won't hook around the top of it to reach the T25 on both sides. The hole pattern is slightly off too
