2024 JLU Rubicon X cargo mat ideas

I have been looking at cargo area protection and frankly I am disappointed in the current offerings I have found so far. I like the OEM Jeep one especially for the back of the rear seat protection but hate that the floor part doesn’t cover the full width.
It seems that there is no quality option that covers the back of the rear seat. There are a lot of them on Amazon that cover the seat but overall seem cheap and flimsy.
my wife has an Outback Touring that we bought new and came with full factory WeatherTech cargo liners that cover both the seat back and the cargo floor. I’m stunned that nobody has something similar for Jeeps.
Has anyone combined different ones to do this? Like using a WeatherTech floor liner in combination with the OEM Jeep seat back, If so how did it work out?

I purchased the Weather Tech cargo tray for my 2026 Willys 4D. It fits perfect and covers the entire witdh of the cargo area. I paid around $130 and it was shipped to my house within a week of ordering. It came rolled up and flattened out within a couple hours.

I actually picked up the OEM liner for less than half price. I like the seat back protection that snaps into the back of the seat and into my flat floor flap. I don’t like the cargo liner part that doesn’t go edge to edge and is attached to the flat floor liner. I’m thinking of cutting the cargo liner from the seat back part where the bottom of the seat meets the floor and adhering some Velcro strips to the back of the flat floor liner at the very bottom of the seat. The flat floor liner has 5 snap in plugs that go into the flat floor filler flap that hold it at the top and the Velcro on the flat floor liner can stick it to the bottom of the flap to stay put.
Then I can add the WeatherTech cargo liner for leather seat models and flat floor option, or a similar top brand, on the cargo floor.

I’ve looked at Armorlite on the website but haven’t seen the product in person. Looks like you have the wheelhouse covers also which is a great idea in the cargo area. Is the flat cargo floor liner a stiff material or like the flexible mats that come folded or rolled up for shipping?

Bigest downfall is I didn’t see on Armorlite any option for the back of the rear seat. My second issue is most sites say it’s not compatible with the 2024+ models but oddly if you read Armorlite’s installation guide it tells you how to trim it to fit models like mine with the rear spring loaded cargo flap which covers the gap.

I did the full Armorlite. Yes the rear cargo liner is rather stiff. The full kit goes under the rear seats and delete the carpet there. The only carpet it leaves is the rear cargo cover. No regrets. I’m typically in sand and hated trying to vacuum that shit out of the carpets. Much easier to keep clean now

Seriously, rubber/vinyl flooring should be the standard in any trim Jeep. Carpet should be an upgrade. I’m old school though

I blended the Jeep JLU OEM system that I already had by trimming off the cargo floor piece from the floor gap close off section that I already had with the Armorlite cargo section. Trimming off the Armorlite per the instructions for leather seat models. It couldn’t have worked any better.
