I have same issue. Bought a used one off a friend and didn’t know it was to narrow for my JLU. Did you successfully trim it wider and how did that work out for you.

Yes, installed A1 Electric kit. Works fine on all 5 doors. Only downside is having an extra remote, the remote is tiny though. Haven’t tried to add remote start. A1 kit is well done, not to difficult just time consuming.

Quick question if you see this. Can I add the OEM remote start kit without OEM power locks. I purchased the a1 electric kit for the locks. Since the door lock signal wires already exist on the Sport, I’m thinking the remote start kit will work after the dealer enables it.

I’m a farmer. Just picked up a brand new 2022 JLU diesel with the 8 speed. 1st gear is like a creeper gear and works amazing around the pastures. Torque and power are not an issue with the 33’s I had put on. My brother has already had Wranglers and has the 2.0T. He’s jealous of my diesel 😂...

Has anyone used the A1 electric kit and bought the oem power front door locks to go with it. If so did you use the A1 wiring for the front doors and adapted it to fit the oem locks.

Thanks. I was eyeing that kit. On their site it talks about a starter kill relay and aux relay. Curious if those are needed and any insight or install advice will be greatly appreciated.

hoping you see this even tough it’s a bit old. I have a 2022 sport with exactly the same plug/pins. you basically said an aftermarket system was the best route for power locks. Any opinion on a good one. Thank you.

I’ve been reading thru a couple of these threads and it seems no one ever reports that they actually got any of this to work, other than the beginning of this one where the front doors were working and sort of ended there. Im in same situation. 2022 JLU sport. Would love to add OEM power locks...
