Anyone install a mount for a hi-lift jack? Where did you mount yours and what mount did you use?

Just happened to have a hilift roll bar mount laying around. Just had to open up the existing holes and go to the hardware store.

Hi-Lift has shown off a JL specific hood mount that holds lights as well. I don't recall if its available yet. Other options so far are rear bumpers as well as one company ( I forget their name) makes an interior mount for the upper roll bar. I'm planning on putting mine on my future roof rack.

I called hi-lift before I started messing around with what I had, they told me they would have a offering but it would be some time till it was released.
Well, I need it now.

@Torero, I couldn’t see how your jack was mounted to the roll bar. Can you elaborate? Or if there is a separate pair of mounts or clamps, could you provide a link? Thanks!

You have the ability to mount it multiple ways, it comes with bole holes on the back and both side of the mount. So basically, you'll need a flat surface to stick it to, like your rear door.

This mount is universal mount and will not work with the Mopar tailgate. We are however coming out with a new mount that will come with a JL bracket and is a better design. The way it's looking, it should be out with the next week or so. I'll post about it as soon as we do release it.
