I had the Roam running boards installed a while back, and always wondered how they'd stack up to damage. Well last night I was T-boned, I have very minor dents on my roam board, no other damage to my Jeep. The Honda Accord that hit me needs a new front end, it's not destroyed but has a very...
Mine rattled pretty bad. Went to home depot got a roll of velcro and a bungee and problem solved. Doesn't rattle whatsoever any longer. Hopefully, these pictures will help.
Next time I take my jeep in for work I'm having this installed if the reviews are good. IF not I'll access other options. Happy with their shocks so far which is why I'm leaning this way
Comeup winch seal gen2 9,500rsi is the route I went. I'm no winch expert, did a bit of research and went with the recommendation of the shop that did my work. Haven't had to use it yet, much to my surprise, so no hands on really.
Without getting all shrink like, I stated my opinion. I drove stock for 1500 miles and have driven on the mods I stated for about 1350. I'm *very* close to stock feeling like I said. I'm quite happy with it. I have also taken it off road and it handled like a champ. Note I said very close...
It was my first time there, I latched on to a couple other groups. One of them had a guy in a stock Rubi (JK) and he had to use his lockers a cpl times but was able to get through stuff. I didn't hit all the trails, I took my kids and one of them was getting a bit scared so I called it a day...
For those of us in WA, I did Walker Valley over the weekend in my Sahara. I do have a lift and bigger tires, but it was a ton of fun. Trail conditions were great and I made it out alive and without any dents. I didn't even need to use my winch. I'm sure there are some areas that may have...
Hard to answer that specifically as I had other work done at the time, beyond what I stated. Tires and wheels were 2K something (5 of each), RK lift was 2K, Falcon shocks weren't that bad don't recall exactly couple hundred anyways. I also had a winch put on, a new front bumper, roam...
I doubt it. E rated tires are pretty stiff. Really only need those if you are going to be towing - for a daily driver. Sorry, wish I had better news for you. You will be throwing good money after bad trying to fix it.
It doesnt matter what you do with those E rated tires. You could put memory foam over everything and it will still be a rough ride. To get C rated tires you have to order the metric size like what I have. 315/70/R17
Best bet is to try and sell them and get the 315 ko2s
Sahara here as well. I did a rk 2.5 xfactor with terraflex falcon shocks. Not quite stock but pretty darn close, and I mean very close. I have 35's as well (315/70/r17). I went that route to get the C rated, if you did the 35 k02s I believe you are on D or E? That is possibly part of your...
