I am still out of town and have not seen the paperwork as my wife picked up the Jeep for me. Will post the exact replacement part once I get back to Denver later in the week.
We have always owned at least one Jeep since 1987 in my family. All three of my daughters had older Jeeps for their first vehicles. We work on them together and wheel together. I have purchased 6 new grand cherokees including a 2006 SRT, 2017 SRT, and a 2019 TrackHawk to name a few.
My 2021 JL has been a lemon for sure. It is hard to just trade it out, I have so much money into it in aftermarket items that are not simple to just swap onto another Jeep the only other Wrangler I would trade it for is a 392. With the 392, I would need to add suspension and axles to it so you are in it for another 30-40k right away. Plus, my JL is paid off…..
We also had a 2021 Jeep GCL that we bought brand new. The start/stop system on that never worked from day one and then at 20,000 miles the Jeep started making grinding noise. The dealer put $34,000 into the Jeep trying to figure it out. They replaced, the entire front end, shafts, diff, and transmission and still could not fix it. It was past lemon maw period so Jeep would not do anything for us. This was right after the engine block cracked on my JL at 24,000 miles and they replaced that!!! We dumped the GCL for a BMW X5. I will not buy another new Jeep until they put a better engine in them and fix the QC problems. The dealer network not providing loaner cars at the price points of these cars, just adds insult to injury.
