So turns out that UPS did not lose my sample, but Oil Analyzer had already sent me the replacement kit. So free VOA

I’m trying to understand this situation. So you sent in PUP 0W40 (not sure what the “on steroids” refers to? An additive?) without telling them it was PUP 0W40? Or only telling them it was Pennzoil? The oil was fresh straight from the container? And the results look pretty bad according to the lab?

I sent the sample through UPS and I didn't hear anything for more than 2 weeks, so I called them and they said that they will send me a replacement kit as UPS can sometimes lose samples. So they sent me a replacement kit. Looks like UPS delayed the delivery big time but eventually delivered it. And I just received the oil analysis report.
I did not tell them the Platinum Euro part because I don't trust these companies, they might just copy paste from the huge database of oils that they have. This does not look like Ultra Platinum 0W-40 because that oil has low ZDDP. This oil breaks API rules, it's like Red Line.
The report is not great and maybe because the oil was old and the jug might had been tampered with. Which means, I should go to Walmart and tell them they gave me bad oil and ask for my money back

So do you have a similar blank report available for PUP 0W-20 to see how it compares? I agree that this euro-spec 0w-40 does not look good at first sight.

Euro 0W-40 looks fantastic, minus the slight contamination.
Here is PUP 0W-20, euro looks so much better in comparison, has so much more ZDDP and detergents. I think because Euro cars are very harsh on oil.

Looks like iron and aluminum in the virgin oil just like Pennzoil 0W-30. They didn’t wipe their ass…or clean the equipment.

In all seriousness besides the water contamination this oil looks decent. Nice ZDDP package, some moly, no ester. Since it’s a 40 grade API phosphorus limits don’t apply. This should perform nicely.

Guys, that day was sunny and warm and I was working on my Jeep. Maybe a couple of drops of my sweat ended up in the oil sample. And my sweat had 4 ppm of iron too
