Literally floated down the Fwy, you could sink in the thick soft leather seats. The best riding most comfortable vehicle I have ever rode in.
Added bonus, light aircraft could land on the hood in an emergency. :like:

What movie was that from ?
“Animal House” featured a black Lincoln Continental.

I should have known. It's been a long darn time since I haven't watched that movie. I sure hope you don't hold it against me my friend. I feel lower than a boiled owl. 😕

They were in a few, “Cannon” drove one, pretty sure Richard Kiel with head and shoulders sticking out the sunroof in I think a Bond film. I failed to find a pic 😒 it was a great cruiser, much more comfortable than my aunt’s El Dorado. Especially the seats.
 Electra Glide in Blue, a pimpmobile ? Robert Blake shot the pimp. Wait- or was it was the Dirty Harry about the bad cops. Magnum Force , Nope Cadillac

Hell, I don’t remember either of them past the name. I might remember, in a while, sometimes my memory is just slow, not completely gone. It’s catching up too me

I completely understand. I'm trying Neuriva, if I could just remember to take it. My doctor has me doing STUPID memory exercises too, GOSH!!! I don't know what her problem is. I remember to pay my bill on the way out.

I’m sort of glad the masses don’t like E rated tires. I’d be willing to bet at least 50% of you don’t like E rated because all your Jeep friends on the internet don’t like them either. I couldn’t tell the slightest bit of difference between the RT Trails and the minivan tires that came on my JT stock. I run 38psi cold and at 25k miles and 5 five tire rotations I’m still WELL over 50% tread life. I’d be willing to bet I’ll get 65k out of these all in, and I’ll replace them with the same tire. Can’t argue with $1640 for five 37s mounted and balanced

I have run E rated mostly with some C and D mixed in right now I run two sets switching back and forth between them one set of E one set of D and agree blindfolded you can't tell the difference...however what I can tell is PSI differences and my wife can really tell the difference if I put too much psi in the tires...My E rated has always felt better on the highway at 28-30psi and wear has been even at those pressures..I have also found that the last 50% goes faster than the first 50% but I have never ever kept a tire on a truck or jeep very long because I am a tire whore and am addicted to new tire rubber...

, KO3 37/12.50/17/C’s in 26 according to BFG. I sure would like more light C options.
I honestly believe the heavier loads is due to the vast HD PU market compared to Jeep/Bronco. …. KO3 C’s coming could be due to a Ford contract.
And hopefully a Jeep contract also. I can't believe Jeep is ceding the 37" factory equipped market to Ford. Ford has 3 vehicles on factory 37s - F150 Raptor and Bronco Raptor - for years, and nothing from Jeep other than that rushed X35 package with no suspension uptravel whatsoever.

Yeah, I was really surprised when I read people didn't like E load tires. I didn't feel any difference at all. Then I had read they were drastically heavier but that's not always accurate.

I didn’t care about the weight because diesel. It cracks me up when someone has full overlanding setup with rtt and all this other nonsense but complains about tires being too heavy or too many ply sidewalls.

The thought of running 38PSI cold on a 37" tire on a JL makes my teeth and kidney hurt. Maybe if I was running that high a pressure I couldn't tell the difference between E and C.

Manufacturers set their recommended tire pressures these days primarily as needed to round up the EPA MPG to the next number, and to be an acceptable pressure for a fully loaded vehicle.

Almost every single vehicle on the road runs better at ~10% below recommended pressure. When you put 37s with their massive amounts of sidewall and load carrying capability, you can reduce pressures by an additional 10-15%.

38PSI = ouch!

I didn’t care about the weight because diesel.
A heavy 37 tire bouncing around after hitting a pothole on the highway at 80MPH is very different proposition for the suspension and steering and shocks to manage, than a much lighter one.

Engine has nothing to do with it, except that in the case of the Diesel, it weights 400 lbs more, all on the front tires, making it even more of a challenge.

If you saw the forces involved, you'd feel sorry for your Jeep and it's components.

As promised, I had the new Toyo R/T Pros installed on my Jeep today. I started a new thread with my first impressions.

Or 37’s, E load only. I am very pleased with the 35/12.50/C’s at only 59 lbs. and will consider 37’s next time IF lighter C’s by then. Only BFG KO2’s have 37/C’s I’m aware of . 🙁
And BFGs sizing is a joke so their "37" is really like a 35.5. Never mind the fact that the KO2s just suck balls in general especially wet.
