Interesting. What are you driving? Did you get bigger tires or are you heavy on the gas pedal? I am getting a solid 21 in my Rubicon. My first thruway driving was 19. Now that it is broken in I will test it again on the thruway at 70MPH. But here in the country about 21.5 average and almost 2000 miles to date. Here' s something interesting the first 600 miles i was avg. 16.2 mpg over the lst 300 miles ive slowly climbed up to 18 mpg.
Jameson’s Irish for me, if you’re buying...Single malt??
Yeah i checked with a few dealers , all said they had to order it. needless to say placing and order with a jeep dealer not something i'm looking forward to. Was hoping to find it online some where, but no luck.Yes! I literally just got back from my dealer, and my bag is in my back seat. Once the rain stops I’ll try it out. (It was ordered July 3.)
no i didn't change anything, i live in mountains so always going up and down hills. Friday i leave for OBX so i will reset the trip od. and see what i average on the way down.Interesting. I prefer scotch , but if your drinking irish whisky. I think tullamore dew is better the jamesons and bushmills.Jameson’s Irish for me, if you’re buying...
The one I ordered was the cheaper of the two options. The "sail cloth". So there's an even more expensive top which I suppose is thicker. In the winter I'll have the hard top on from Dec-March. The other months I'll actually have the soft top (and the doors) on as little as possible. I only need it to lessen the effect of downpours. Is it the premium soft top? I have no clue what the difference is, but if it’s “premium” and costs triple....has to be better, right? And yes, I also ordered the Brooklyn Bridge! Lol
What's the tire pressure supposed to be for those tires?I have joined the ranks of you 2dr gladiators! Here she is. I traded my JLU Sport S for her last night. Yes, I am very sick! Ordered 6/26, home 7/31. Not bad. My apologies to all those that waited eons.

Stock rubi tires 37 psi. What's the tire pressure supposed to be for those tires?
What are you driving. Keep in mind that the Rubicon has a 410 differential and bigger tires than the Sport's. I am in a hilly area but am fairly light on the gas so I guess I am doing pretty good. I will be doing a little thruway driving in a couple weeks and will post my results then.Much better than me.
As Keda 69 said 37psi. It is listed on the inside of the driver door. What's the tire pressure supposed to be for those tires?
Hmmm....That seems a little high but good to know. I'm having 255/75R/17 BFG ATKO tires (approx. 32.5") put on my sport.Stock rubi tires 37 psi.
I'm wondering if the rubi manual has different gears because of the rears. I wouldnt think so , but does anyone else think 3rd and 4th gear are a little tall? What are you driving. Like i said that is for stock rubi tires. If you put different tires on , your stock psi which is printed on the inside of your door (like fred said ) is no good anymore and the tire itself will only give you max psi not best psi for driving.Hmmm....That seems a little high but good to know.
